"Our Family (4 generations) enjoyed this home a lot. It is about a 10-25 minute drive to all of Galveston's attractions. Kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed to prepare our meals. The outside of the home is a little worn but the inside is immaculate. I personally slept on one of the bunk beds and was very comfortable. We enjoyed walking to the beach, watching movies in the living room, playing cards at the table, and watching fireworks (fluke thing) from the balcony. The owner was very helpful and friendly even when we accidentally turned on the security alarm, whoops. The kids bunk room was so nice to have with 3 small children. I think this place deserves 5 stars for the inside alone! (The only qualifier I give is because of the exterior needing some maintenance.) I would gladly stay here again, in a heartbeat."Guest: Anna C. Date of Stay: December 2013 Review Submitted: January 3, 2014View listing
"My boys and I had a great time over Spring Break! Even though the weather didn't cooperate, we explored the island during the day. Then, we came back to the beachhouse at night for easy dinners with the kids. And the house was big enough to have some family friends come over for dinner. We will definitely be back again and again!!!"Guest: Alix S. Date of Stay: March 2014 Review Submitted: March 25, 2014View listing
"We had a small family trip with 5 adults... We had a great time! The breeze at night is wonderful and you can hear the waves on the porch (awesome!) It was very quiet and comfortable! The next time we come to galveston- we will be trying to stay at this house again! The owner is very nice and responds to emails quickly. Definitely recommend this house!!"Guest: Andrea R Date of Stay: June 2014 Review Submitted: June 23, 2014View listing
"We enjoyed our time at Pura Vida, all ten of us enjoyed a variety of things to do in Galveston... fishing, swimming, Moody Gardens, and having friends come by to visit. The house is very comfortable, new, clean, well stocked, and the owner is VERY responsive if a need does arise. My husband and I arranged this trip so we had the luxury of the master suite... wonderful! Small note, check some of the stair rails, a couple are loose. Stairs and kids are always a concern."Guest: pjenn Date of Stay: July 2014 Review Submitted: August 2, 2014View listing
