"Our family was lucky to stay in this wonderful, clean home for a family wedding. There was nothing we needed as everything you might need is there. The snacks and water that was provided were a nice extra, and the neighborhood feels very safe and quiet. When visiting Galveston again, we would definitely stay there again."

"What a cute house! We brought three of our kids and all four grandchildren for the weekend. The house had plenty of room for everyone. We had everything we needed for our stay. There were plenty of linens, cooking utensils and really nice cookware. We were close to the beach and the pier. We spend the day at Schlitterbahn on Saturday and it was nice to be able to come back to the house and prepare dinner so we wouldn't have to go out to eat with all of us. The property was clean and very nicely decorated. Nati greeted us, went over everything with us and made us feel at home. There was great communication before our trip through email with Elizabeth. While I felt the cleaning fee was high since we left the house very clean, I understand not everyone does. We would stay again, would prefer to stay a little longer next time and see more of Galveston. Definitely recommend."

Wonderful, spacious East End historical home with lots of charm and character
"We were so pleased to get to stay In this wonderful historical home. We loved all the antiques that just give you a nostalgic look back in time. Everything is very sturdy as they were built back in that era. The dining room table and chairs are large and very sturdy. You could just imagine all of the elegant visitors who came through that front door and had tea in the front room by the fireplace. It was an adventure going through each room and looking at the treasures. The owner has certainly put her love into each room with all the furniture, decorations and art. So many of the original features remain that make you feel like you're on the historical home tour. This is very spacious and great for families. There's comfortable seating in each room. We did not get to use the kitchen but it seems very functional and well stocked. The garden rooms were very light and airy and we enjoyed sitting in there. The first afternoon was spent part of the time on the front porch in the rockers, enjoying the breeze. It is in a good location, close to Bishops Palace and other historical sights. It's also a short drive to the beach and Pleasure Pier. I would certainly recommend this home."

"Excellent property! Went for a girls weekend with a group of 9 and we had a terrific stay at The Gulf Lady. Convenient location a couple of blocks from the beach and restaurants. Small convenience store "Mo's" on the same block. Felt very safe in the neighborhood. We are planning on returning next year and making this an annual girls trip."
