  • Excellent Communication!

"While our group ultimately opted to stay in a B&B - I was impressed with the level of responsiveness from the owner. Out of the 4 places I queried, this owner was the only one to respond within several hours and provided detailed answers to my questions, and additional images. I got a great feeling from our correspondence - always a good place to start!"

  • Little gem in a great location!

"I was relocating from Louisiana to Houston, and ended up staying at the Zen Apartment for over 3 months. It’s a lovely little apartment with enough basics to get by, and had a safe feeling, which was important as a woman traveling alone. Location was great, and was only a 20 minute drive from Downtown. It’s also close to lots of restaurants and shopping. It was a gem of a place that helped me make the transition to Houston life. On occasion, the elevators broke down, but management usually had someone come in to fix it, and I ended up making the trek up to the 5th floor, or used one of the alternate elevators. They also picked up your garbage every day outside your apartment, if you didn’t want to walk to the trash chute. The gym and pool were also great pluses. I found most of the people living there were professionals, or those with appointments in the medical center. This is a pet friendly apartment building, and never had any issues with noises. The owner was pretty responsive whenever I needed to extend my stay or had any questions. I wouldn’t hesitate to live here again, and actually miss it already. The one thing I wish it had was a desk or table for eating or telecommuting, but other than that, everything else was great! I miss it already!"

  • Great Place for Birthday Celebration

"Even though the owner was out of town- the property was quite easy to secure. She was very responsive from my initial inquiry to the day that i arrived. This property is exactly (if not better) than it appears in the photos. The location is close to Downtown, Galleria, Reliant and other locations just as the description mentiones. The property is in a comfortable residential area, yet close to major interstates/highways. My girlfriends and I (5) rented this property for my birthday celebration and there was plenty of room for everyone. It is so much better than a hotel because there is one place everyone comes back to after a day/night of activity where we can gather in the kitchen, around the dining room table, on the patio or in the living room and continue the fun. While we were in Houston we went horseback riding at Cypress trails (superfun), we also did a Pedal Party downtown (excruciatingly fun), visited Houston Breakfast Klub (delicious food) amoung many other Houston favorites. It was one of the best girls getaway trips that we've had and having such a a cozy, modern, comfortable place played a huge part."

Visitors to Houston also have the advantage of being near the Texas Gulf Coast and miles of shoreline.
