"I brought my Parents and my Sisters' family to Rockport for five days over Thanksgiving. This house could not have been more perfect for the eight of us! We ranged in age from 78 down to 13. With the two living areas and large dining space, we had plenty of room for everyone. Whether we wanted to be all at the dining room table or escape off for a little quiet time, it was very easy to do in this home. The main kitchen upstairs was really nice and having the small kitchen downstairs really helped with our cooking for Thanksgiving. The bedrooms were all good sizes with good space. Being self-employed, I really never get away from work and internet coverage can be a concern for me, but it worked very well in this home, whether upstairs or downstairs. The upstairs balcony overlooking the canal was the perfect place for morning coffee, conversation and watching the ducks fly in and out the canal. The only glitches that I had to call the Property Manager for were very small: we didn't have the wifi password and the hot water heaters were turned off, but the Manager answered her phone, even on Thanksgiving morning and was very quick to help. We had small issues in that the spa attached to the pool was not heated, which we didn't realize, but that was my fault for not reading the description better and only one bedroom had twin beds instead of two bedrooms as the description stated, but we dealt with these issues without too much of a problem. Best quote to sum this stay up is from my Sister as we sat down for our Thanksgiving meal, "Let's have Thanksgiving again next year exactly the same as this year, this is the best house ever!" Hopefully, we will be able to do so!"
