  • Perfect Port A Getaway Spot!

"What a GREAT beach house! I spent the weekend at this house for a weekend getaway with friends. I planned the entire trip, so I can attest to how friendly and helpful the owners are. All necessary information was provided plenty of time in advance, they responded promptly to any questions I had, and most importantly, their house is a wonderful place to stay. The house is in great condition, with a big kitchen that's bright and open, a living room with plenty of seating for big groups, a screened-in porch for relaxing outside without the mosquitoes, and 4 bedrooms with VERY comfortable beds. We had a terrific time and thoroughly enjoyed the house. It was a rainy weekend, so the vast majority of our time was spent there, and we never felt cramped (played lots of ping pong!). HIGHLY recommend this to anyone traveling with a group of 6 or more. Only downside would be if you really wanted to be on the water or have an ocean view. This was not that important to us, so we did not mind at all. Even if you are wanting an ocean view, I will say that with this house, you get the quality and feel of the nice big beach houses on the water, but for a fraction of the cost. Book this rental for your next trip to Port Aransas, you won't regret it! PS- They provide a packet with recommendations on activities and restaurants, etc. which was very helpful. I highly recommend La Playa (this was on their list). The Crabmeat Enchiladas were phenomenal, and that's coming from a San Antonio native - we know our Mexican food!"

  • Great condo!

"We've stayed in a lot of vacation rentals but this is probably the best ever. VERY CLEAN. So pleasant and relaxing. They provide everything you need for a terrific vacation. The kitchen is amazing and has all the utensils you could want. I've never felt compelled to write a review before but this place is so nice I just had to!"

  • Excellent value for a beach getaway

"This is a modest little one-bedroom apartment that is just perfect for a relaxing beach getaway. The living room/kitchen area is very spacious and comfortable, for when you relax in the A/C and take a break from the heat. The king size bed is on the firmer side, which I found quite comfortable (although kind of loud and squeaky). One thing the owner could do to make this property even better would be to put up some drapes in the bedroom to keep so much sunlight from coming in in the morning. The best part about this property is its proximity to the beach. No joke, an easy little 5 minute walk down the boardwalk and you are there. The only downside, really, was the pool. It was fairly small and really needed about 6-8 inches of water added to it. Overall, the property was very clean and comfortable and a fantastic value."
