"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Every year two other couples join us for a three-day-weekend in Port Aransas. We've stayed at Lost Colony before, but not in this particular condo. While we had no complaints about the previous accommodations, I think this condo was even better. Inside, all the surfaces, floors, etc, were sparkling. The beds were all very comfortable, the showers were good and hot, and all the appliances and devices were in good working order. And the deck view? Spectacular! We'd definitely stay here again."

  • Family Vacation

"There were 16 of us total. 10 adults, a teenager and 5 kids ages 3-8. We had a fantastic time. We took full advantage of the fire pit and the kitchen. The only thing I would mention is the fact that the bunk room for the kids is completely separate from the main house. You have to actually walk outside to get to it. We were not comfortable with the young kids sleeping there without a parent close by so we moved the kids upstairs. They slept on the big, comfy couch and the wonderful blow up mattress. It worked out fine, but it was kind of a surprise to see the set up of the house. Overall, we had a wonderful time. The house was beautiful and very clean. The owner was easy to work with and very sweet. I would highly recommend it."

  • wonderful trip

"The condo was absolutely charming, the decor bright and beachy, and the kitchen was very well- equipped. The owner is delightful and responsive (we had added a fourth night after we made the original reservation for three and had a little trouble with our door-code not working on the afternoon of the fourth day) and she was very accessible and quickly resolved the issue while we were on the phone. The location is great - a very short walk to the beach. Although it is a one bedroom, it has a king sized bed and a pull-out sofa and the best part is two full baths. My husband and me and our two teenagers could make it work because of that! We will be back!"
