  • Mom's 62 Birthday Weekend!!!

"I chose this place cause it looked great, was in a good location and we were a family of 15 (7 adults and 5 kids). The owner was VERY accommodating with booking being made under a month in advance and allowing us to check in early to set up for a surprise party. The house is very nice, great decor, and very spacious. We really got a lot of use and enjoyed the back deck. It allowed the kids a shady place to hangout during the day and the cool breeze in the evening gave the adults a great place to relax and have some drinks. The main living areas were large enough so all the family could be together and is how we spent the whole weekend....TOGETHER!! The house is in a great area with stores and beach just a short drive. It has everything you need to make your stay comfortable. The only tiny setbacks were the gas grill was dirty from previous use and the propane tank was empty. We are big BBQ people so we didn't let it stop us, it was just unexpected. Also there was a new window blind left on the dinning room table, I imagine it was going to replace the broken one one the front door. No biggie, I just stored it in a cabinet during our stay. All in all, we had a unforgettable weekend and my mom was elated with the house, the surprise party, and mostly that all our family was together. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend this for large families looking for a nice spacious place to relax, enjoy each others company, and the area. THANK YOU LA PLAYA DE KIKI FOR THE MEMORIES!!!!!"

  • Memorial Day Fun

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our stay at this property was lovely. We are a late 30's married couple who visited with our 13 month old daughter and medium size dog. This house was day to locate, cute, has great (very close) beach access via a boardwalk and is close/driving distance to great places to shop and eat. While parts of the house could use a bit of updating - mainly upstairs deck, steps on outside and patio area and furniture below - overall we were pleased. The garage was a plus for loading/unloading the car too! One thing to note is that there is a large sago palm in the backyard, and these are toxic to dogs and small children if they were to ingest any of the plant, so if your dog (or kids) like to eat things please keep this in mind! We ate at Shells and Venetian Hot Plate during our visit - both within a few minutes drive from the property - and both were delicious. There is an IGA and a CVS not far from the house as well. Management was very responsive to my emails and requests and always very nice & happy to help. Thanks for a fun Memorial Day getaway!"

  • Fantastic Condo Rental!

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have stayed at several condos on various different beaches and this was a gem! The walk to the beach is a very easy walk and was directly across from Sandfest. The condo's high ceilings made the rooms seem very roomy. It was comfortable and well furnished."

  • Family Vacation Sand Castle Festival

"I love the house has both floors with each a full kitchen, there was plenty of room for my entire family, including my kids, which fit perfect on the bunk beds. The pool area was very nice and clean, all other residents were friendly. I recommend this house, I am a frequent Port Aransas Beach visitor, and I will say I plan on looking at the available dates for the future."
