"This home had plenty of space for me, my husband, our two kids, and my parents to enjoy a weekend in Rockport/Fulton. The kitchen was stocked with every sort of pot, pan, and bowl imaginable as well as beach towels. We also enjoyed the book and game collection, patio, and hammock. It is a short walk to the pier for bird- and dolphin-watching. Several restaurants, a seafood market, a bait shop, the post office, and a souvenir store are also within walking distance. We also walked to the Fulton Schoolhouse museum. We were a bit flummoxed by the thermostat at first, but we eventually figured it out."

"We savored a much needed weekend getaway at this delightful waterfront home!! The gentle breeze was splendid as we relaxed on the large upper deck in the laid back chairs. Quiet, serene, restful atmosphere. Our teenage son had a lively time with the crab trap and fishing off the long dock. He reeled in a few fish and also, interestingly enough, snagged an alligator gar, which was thrown back after examination!! A large tub of board games is located in the down stairs common area. We choose Twist Phase 10 to play with the last Ding Dong and ice cream cones for the winner! Of course the game was on and Dad won both!! We all played until we 'mastered' the game! We decided to add it to our shopping list! Best thing is that we didn't 'need' any 'electronics' to stay entertained here! (although the teenager did enjoy the Sega Genesis located downstairs and we did watch movies in the evening, cable is provided!) Family time as well as alone time was at its best! The morning sunrise and evening sunset was a spectacular view to behold with the reflections on the water! God's breathtaking creations never cease to amaze me! Grilled fajitas out on the gas grill and chowed down while enjoying the view on the outside upper deck. Take your skitter spray 'cause those Texas size skitters are something else! Walmart is just 20 minutes down the road for anything you might have left home without! This home is kid and family friendly!!! The upper living area is accessible by the outside stairway which leads to the upper deck. It rivals two bedrooms with queen size comfort, living area with sizable tv, full tub/shower bath, and full kitchen. The downstair accommodations include one queen bedroom, spacious living/common area with small tv, full bath with shower, and a small kitchen/bar area. Room to spread out and relax! Roll aways and air mattresses are on hand for extra sleeping space. Plenty of towels and linens are provided along with paper towels and bath tissue. Ample hot water for showers too! All bedrooms have ceiling fans. Air units in all the rooms were a plus so that temperatures can be set to personal preference! The downstairs area is definitely wheel chair accessible too! Plenty of room to sit ice chests if you bring them. If you are not into cleaning your dishes, bring the 'papery' china with you! I adored the light airy beachy theme showcased throughout this home. A place where you can easily make yourself 'at home'! I am looking forward to my return trip!"

"We took our family down to Redfish Retreat for the boys annual duck hunt in Rockport. What we found was a great place to come back to for fishing. The house is VERY well stocked. Clean. Everything is comfortable. The view off the deck is lovely and the pier is amazing day or night. Great lighted pier and has an underwater green light too. Super covered fish cleaning area with running water and cutting area. Although it was very cold and no fish biting due to water temperatures...we still tried some crabbing and were able to see schools of fish. We are already planning a second trip for fishing! We loved it!"

"We found this little gem on the web site VRBO.com, what a great find, good location in Rockport, nice neighborhood on a dead end street with very little traffic. It has a very large wooded fenced in backyard,
right off the back slider, with a patio and gas grill.
This house has all the amenities for a short vacation or a longer 3/4 month vacation. Very clean
and comfortable, just bring food and your ready to enjoy.
We have already made reservations for next year."
