  • Wonderful

"Tim and Denise, Thank you for sharing your beautiful vacation home with us. There was absolutely nothing that was left out from the linens, to the kitchen, to the smallest little details. The balcony overlooking Little Bay captured the majority of our attention and we loved the wonderful comfortable temperatures after the sun lifted mid morning until late into the night. The dolphins, and pelicans (plunkers as my wife would refer to them) provided endless entertainment and fishing right off the piers consumed the remainder. We didn't bring a boat, but for those who wish to, the docks out back provide a great convenience to anyone wanting to explore the great fishing and water activities right around the corner. Again many thanks and we look forward to returning."

  • Perfect little hideaway!

"The house is older but well cared for. The water pressure and temp are great. The kitchen is well stocked. The decor is perfect for the beach setting. The house is on a dead end street, so no thru traffic and it is a quiet area with a large field backing up to the back yard. I was pleasantly surprised to find that there are even toys in the house for the little ones! If I were reaching to find any room for improvement, I'd say the bathtub needs to be refinished and the shower curtain needs to be replaced. Perfect for a family getaway! If we vacation in Rockport again, I will certainly book at this property again!"

Why Choose Rockport Vacation Rentals

Rockport and its sister town of Fulton are just to the northeast of Corpus Christi in Texas. They are on the mainland coast, facing San Jose Island across Aransas Bay. The sheltered waterway provides excellent beaches along this lovely coastline, particularly on the barrier islands. Rockport is an established art town with many galleries in the charming downtown area and the Rockport Art Center nearby.

The wetlands and windswept oaks in the area make an attractive natural sight and are the perfect environment for walking, birding and fishing. The Aransas National Wildlife Refuge is an interesting place to visit and has a colony of threatened whooping cranes which visit during the winter months.

Rockport vacation rentals are available in various sizes and locations and ideal for snowbirds, families and groups of friends sharing a vacation. Each individual vacation home rental will have its own charm and character but all homes have comfortable living space with one or more TVs. The well-equipped kitchen is ideal for preparing snacks and drinks. Families requiring special diets, or those who do not want to blow the vacation budget on dining out, will find a vacation rental home the perfect solution.

Families are able to spread out and do their own thing on their own agenda in a spacious vacation home. With plenty of space for grandparents and the family pet, a Rockport vacation rental is the perfect home away from home.
