  • The Grouper at Fishcamp Rockport --WOW!!!!

"Went down to Rockport for a quick weekend fishing getaway with friends and even though our fishing guide's boat problems cancelled our fishing trip, WOW, the Grouper cottage at Fishcamp Rockport was AWESOME. Very clean, decorated beautifully, cable TV (that we never watched) and comfortable beds. Plenty of games to keep us entertained (bigtime UNO wars both nights), not to mention the kitchen was equipped with everything we needed (and outdoor grill). I would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a quick (or long-term) getaway. Thank you and we will be back!!!"

"Everything about our little cottage was just as described - clean and comfortable, cool and problems were resolved quickly. It could use an extra garbage can. Eight ladies can generate lots of waste, but it was homey, safe and very convenient to everything. I would highly recommend it for families or small groups. The deck was lovely also! Bring lawn chairs, because there aren't many."

  • great deal

"Small house on a quiet street that is close to everything. Off street parking for up to 2 cars was nice. Great enclosed backyard with BBQ. The cookware is past due for replacement, but all the basics are there. Lots of dishes, glassware and utensils. Seating in the living room is a bit limited with a love seat and big rattan chair that was rather comfortable. There are board games, books and magazines throughout the house. The ceiling fan in the master is wobbly and noisy and you can hear every car on the street go by, so sleep did not come easy for me. My husband slept like a baby, so this may not be an issue for everyone. My 2 adult sons occupied the other bedrooms and seemed quite comfortable although the twin beds were a bit small for the one that got there last. This room is more suited for children."

  • Labor Day Relaxation

"My wife and I have been going to visit Rockport for the last few years. We have stayed at hotels. No more. This condominium was perfect. Tim and Denise were easy to deal with even though they had some personal issues they were dealing with just like we were. The inside was spectacular. Very comfortable and easy living. We had two little issues which were immediately taken care of and were done with complete respect to our schedule. Watching the pelicans, dolphins, terns, ducks, fish and other wildlife from our balcony was so relaxing. You could count on something happening outside in Little Bay almost at all hours. These are not distracting things just nature entertaining you. By Monday night the place was practically empty as all the labor day visitors headed home. We were able to go to the beach in Rockport as well as out in Port Aransas and just had a blast. This is a friendly complex where you can meet people if you want or b e private. The choice is yours. You cannot go wrong taking advantage of this rental."
