  • Great time exploring the Rockport area

"Enjoyed our week stay at this property. Once you figure out the main roads, the area is easy to navigate. Opportunities to fish, bike, spend time at the beach -- all are readily accessible. Be sure to wear sunscreen as even cloudy days can give you lots of sun exposure! Enjoyed sitting on the dock or deck and looking out over the lake. Being able to grill became our regular nightly ritual. If you don't catch something on a fishing trip, Rockport has lots of places to select a fresh catch of the day. The whole set up is great! Definitely would like to return!"

  • Just like the pictures!

"We had a wonderful time at this house wishing we could have stayed longer, but life called us back!! The view was spectacular. There was a stretch of beach near by for "shelling" although the actual beach access was about a mile away. The Rockport Beach was wonderful for the 2 one year olds with us as it stretches out shallow and warm for a long time leaving plenty of room for them to toddle and sit and dig and "swim". House could use some updates, particularly in the bathrooms, but was adequate for us with a well furnished kitchen and huge pantry area. Owner made renting easy for us. A neighbor was very helpful to us."

  • Adorable Beach House with Great Outdoor Spaces

"The property owner has a great sense of style - such a nicely decorated house with a cute but cool beach theme. Very pretty and comfortable. We spent a long weekend with two other couples at this house. All had king size beds and private baths. The downstairs suit was more private. You had to go outside to get up to the main part of the house but this was fine. The home had a nice size island which seated 6 couples comfortably. Kitchen was large enough for three women to cook up several feasts and a large variety of drinks! The best part was the outdoor spaces - four of them! There is a large deck over the boathouse with the cutest margaritaville wood chairs providing a great view of the water (on a canal that leads to the Intercoastal Waterway). A nice covered deck was located in front of the upstairs entry to the kitchen/living area. Another covered patio is located in front of the downstairs suite. The last and most fun outdoor living area was along the water. This was a perfect spot for fishing and watching boats go by. This is not a true beach house in that there is no access to a beach but it's a perfect house for kayaking with easy access from the boat house and a short paddle out to some great fishing spots (just south of Estes Cove). Unfortunately it rained and was too windy to do this when we were there but will try this on our next trip. This is a very clean and comfortable home - perfect for a getaway with friends or a family wiht teenagers. Also close to Rockport for some great shopping!"

  • Palm Harbor Rental Home

"This home is lovely inside. Very clean and perfect for a small family (no more than four total). Master bed is comfy and only other bed is a pullout couch. Two small kids could sleep there. Bathroom was clean, bright and well stocked. Kitchen had everything you need to cook a good meal. Three recliners complete the living room with a small flat screen TV, perfect for Shark week! While not the RV camp's responsibility, the neighboring harbor is very old and run down. Fishing in the bay between Port Aransas and Rockport is only steps away from this cabin and there are plenty of well-maintained fish cleaning stations right on the property. Great place to stay for driving to the beach and for fishing right at the cabin. I recommend this location for any small family or couple looking for a quiet, clean place to stay."
