  • Relaxing week at Rockport

"Lovely vacation home. One morning I watched the dolphins, herons, seagulls, pelicans, ducks and a rainbow. All from the back deck. You can tell they have put a lot of love in this home and use it. The kitchen was fun to cook in and several people could be working in the kitchen at the same time and not feel crowded."

  • Great time exploring the Rockport area

"Enjoyed our week stay at this property. Once you figure out the main roads, the area is easy to navigate. Opportunities to fish, bike, spend time at the beach -- all are readily accessible. Be sure to wear sunscreen as even cloudy days can give you lots of sun exposure! Enjoyed sitting on the dock or deck and looking out over the lake. Being able to grill became our regular nightly ritual. If you don't catch something on a fishing trip, Rockport has lots of places to select a fresh catch of the day. The whole set up is great! Definitely would like to return!"

  • We had a nice time

"We really enjoyed our stay but my complaint is the neighbors to the right. They are permanent residents and seemed to complain a lot for different reasons. If you have kids make sure they are very quiet or they will come to your door to complain....they even had an issue with us barbecuing, even when we were taking all precautions and following the rules. This lady seemed to watch our every move when outside...we did not enjoy the outdoor patio much. She was not very friendly and it was just uncomfortable being outside. She was outside smoking what seemed like ALL THE TIME! We didn't enjoy our meals outdoors as we should. We will be back to Kontiki but I am being honest when I say I am not sure if we will stay at this unit due to the neighbors. We have been to Kontiki for the past 5 years and have never had this issue at any other condo. This condo is great! its the neighbors I am complaining about. We look forward to staying at Kontiki again this summer.....if you don't mind nosy neighbors and don't have children I highly recommend this unit. It was very clean and everything you needed was available."
