"We stayed at the condo June 13-20. It was perfect for us. The price was very reasonable for what we received. Everything was as described but seemed bigger than photos because of the room layout. The kitchen had everything we needed, bed was comfortable, grounds were manicured and the location is right on the beach, and what a beach it is! I'm a runner and what fun to go out the door and be able to run right on the beach. I've been to Hawaii, Florida, Bahamas and this beach is as nice as any and goes on for miles!! The beach and property were very family friendly. And I must say it was pretty sweet not having to drag suitcases up the stairs. Thanks for an awesome week! Would love to come visit again!"

  • Very nice-highly recommend!

"The cottage is clean/well maintained, comfortable, cozy and super kid friendly (baby gear, swings, beach toys, kid's room is amazing). Beds are all extremely plush/comfortable. I will definitely rent again. Owners very organized and helpful-Thanks!"

  • Magical & Relaxing get-away

"My wife, 3.5 yr old daughter and I stayed here for four nights in July. The sun was hot, the sky was clear, and the private beach was wonderful (not crowded; tons of space). We spent hours enjoying the entire experience and getting away from work and responsibillity. The condo was clean, very cute, and extremely comfortable for us. We used the grill, the boogie boards, chairs, and other things found in the storage unit. For four days we didn't have to go more than a mile from our house to get groceries, drinks, or dinner (Nate's was a fun local joint similar to Razzoo's meets Black Eyed Pea). Robert & Ivonne were wonderful hosts giving great advice, keeping up good communication with us, answering questions and offering a wonderful product from beginning to end. We could not be happier about the entire stay, and look forward to visiting next year! Cheers."

  • Nice place to stay with good views.

"The beach house was exactly as described in the ad so no surprises there. The biggest surprise was the ridiculous amount of sea weed washing up onto the beach. There was so much that it acted as a barrier to getting to the water and stunk horribly. Efforts were made by the city to clear it but it just kept coming in. We will never visit Galveston again during this part of the year. There was also a rather large snake sighted on the dunes so do not ignore the warning signs along the beach. The snakes are real. We had the opportunity to meet the owners and they were very nice and have done a good job keeping the property in shape. The house is several miles from the main tourist area so it tends to be peaceful unless there are other renters partying in neighboring homes. The neighborhood appeared to be about 50% rental properties and there were some partiers that went on until the early morning hours but it wasn't a constant or a huge issue. Other minor issues that need some attention were 1) the stove is not level so stove top cooking was harder than it needed to be 2) there was an outdoor light that wasn't working in the lower parking area and 3) the clothes dryer did not work very well - our towels never got dry and we ended up just hanging them over the railing to dry. The property is a good value but buyer beware on the seasonal issues like the sea weed that we encountered."
