"My husband and I took our 5 boys to SPI for a week and had the best vaca ever! The condo was so much better then described- In fact the pictures do not do it justice! It was beautiful and had everything we needed plus some. But the very best part was the view, whether your at the front door, balcony, windows, or roof top, it was absolutely breathtaking. The rooftop is actually what sold this condo for us and it did not disappoint. The resort, was great! Three pools, 4 hot tubs, pool side bar, tennis courts, and beach access, we couldn't have asked for anything better. Mrs Kay, the owner, was very helpful and very friendly. We cannot wait till our next SPI vaca and well definitely be staying here."

"We recently did a last minute trip to South Padre and were fortunate enough to find this beachside condo. You are literally steps from the beach! The south end of the condo provides a beautiful view of the beach while the north side provides a view of the bay and an excellent view of the weekly bayside fireworks. The condo is spacious but a bit dated. A little updating and this condo could earn a 5 star review.
South Padre is relatively small so the condo provided easy access to the various activities on the island such as the dolphin tour and parasailing our group did. We did not get a chance to fish or horseback ride on the beach but look forward to these activities in the future.
Unfortunately, some nearby (walking distance) restaurants had recently closed. However we found an excellent cafe (The Grapevine Cafe and Coffee House) for breakfast and lunch just a few blocks from the condo.
We thoroughly enjoyed our last minute trip to So. Padre and will definitely be going back."

"This was my first time to visit SPI, and my first time to ever rent a condo! What a great first time for both. This condo had everything that our family needed! The kitchen was fully stocked with the cooking utensils and cookware that we needed, I ended up not even using half the stuff I brought. The condo was very spacious and full of all the amenities you will need during a vacation. Lots of clean linens, dishes, dishwasher, washer and dryer (even the soap to operate it) brooms.....the list goes on and on. I felt right at home. The pool was very well maintained. It was nice to have at the end of a long day on the beach so the kids could relax and swim around while I got dinner ready.
The location of the condo is great, off the main road and within a very short walking distance to both the beach and great restaurants. We found we really didn't need our vehicle but to carry all of our beach things to the beach everyday.
I will for sure be visiting SPI again and will rebook this condo again and again.
The owners are very friendly and answered all of my questions I had prior to me booking with them."

"We arrived to a sparkling clean condo! The bathrooms were spotless, the kitchen was spotless, the bedroom's were spotless!! The beds were comfortable and the linings were crisp. We had ample towels and wash cloths. The kitchen had plenty of plates and silverware as well as pots and pans. The A/C was really cold! We were able to wash off our beach accessories right on the parking lot so that we didn't have to pack them all sandy. The balcony was a great place to watch the people walk and bicycle by!
There is a Redbox movie rental station at the Stripes gas station a few blocks away if you need to rent a movie during the rainy days or down time. They have a VHS and DVD player in the den as well as a stereo. There is a second TV in the guest bedroom.
It was a short walk to the beach access or just a few miles down to Beach Access #5 where you can pay $5. for the whole day and drive out onto the beach. The water was clean and the beach was not crowded during the week.
The best place to get seafood was at "The Pearl" hotel. On Friday and Sunday they have an all you can eat buffet for $28 per person. They have two pasta bars to get custom made pasta dishes or they have four other stations to get cold seafood or hot entrees. The dessert bar was wonderful with pies, cakes and flaming desserts. The view from the restaurant was beautiful and the waitstaff was top notch. Be sure to make a reservation if you are going.
There was a patch of grass to take our small do to do his business. It was right outside the door to the left. So much easier than going down an elevator and through any lobby!
Pedro was wonderful to work with and I recommend his place for any family visit or a weekend with friends!"
