"This was our 5th time to stay at San Andres. We love it and would never consider staying anywhere else in SPI.
The condos feels like home, but even nicer! It's right across the street from the beach, which was great since we have little kids. We were able to come back to the condo for quick bathroom breaks and naps with no problem.
It's great to be able to wash our clothes and to be able to put the kids in the guest room with a movie on the DVD player.
Our favorite part is always the pool!! It's amazing and we like to grill out while the kids swim.
The managers are so friendly and accommodating. They do their best to make sure we are having a good stay."

"Such a great place to stay. Felt at home as soon as we arrived. Back yard with privacy fence was the best. We were there during Spring Break and was so happy to have this private place made our stay so much better than staying in a crowded condo. the propery manager(Pat) was so wonderful...so informed of all to do on the island, made everything so much easier for us to figure things out. She gives you your privacy but goes out of her way to make your experience the Best. My only complaint was we could not stay longer!"

"My family and I needed to get away (husband/ wife/ toddler/ in-laws). After deciding on going to South Padre, we sought out our specific needs for a vacation rental and we found this condo. The bad news, as our vacation approached, it was 50-80% showers daily.
First off, the complex's facilities are secure, safe, and clean. Not only is there a coded gate, but there is security in the evening and cameras. The complex is well maintained, and the landscaping is kept up.
There were not a lot of people in the complex while we were there but as it got busier towards the weekend, we still didn't notice any noise. This includes Schlitterbaun being open all day Saturday.
The condo is very nice and kept up. It has all the stated amenities, and obviously someone's own and not just a full time rental.
The beach is only 60 yards away, and it is also well maintained and clean. We saw crews hit the beach every morning. This is the last complex on the beach so skies the limit on space. No public access around or too many people from the Schlitterbaun resort. We never worried once about setting up our base and leaving. The beach was very fun but also peaceful. It's beautiful in South Padre. No pollution and aqua blue waters. No big waves to keep you out of the water.
We hit up the other end of the island with our toddler for a Petting zoo. We went down to the Brownsville zoo as well (truly a great place and much bigger than you would ever expect). HEB and Walmart are less than 10 away in Port Isabel for forgotten essentials. Dirty Al's offers some great local fair.
Overall, if we could do anything different, it would have been to eat out less. We will plan to stay in this Condo again on our next adventure to South Padre. Be sure to bring mosquito repellant, there were too many for my liking which made the short walk to the beach a tough one. That is obviously out of the hands of everyone. On other positive notes... The owners were accessible the entire time for questions and obviously wanted us to enjoy our stay. Oh... And that rain, we had a sprinkle for less than 10 min on a single day."
