  • Amazing!!!

"We stayed here during our honeymoon! Everything exceeded our expectations! You can tell that Elliott and Sherri cherish the guests they have! They have created a sanctuary, that is hard to leave! The bed is dangerously comfortable, and the quality in products they have chosen makes it feel like home! You are in a wonderful location, and able to walk most places! I'd highly recommend staying here!"

  • Girls Weekend

"A group of girls stayed here in July/August and had an absolutely fabulous time. The accommodations are incredible - the house is very spacious with incredible floor to ceiling windows. All of the amenities - showers, kitchen, kitchen appliances, etc - are top notch. Curran was so easy to work with and ensured that we had a perfect stay. I would highly recommend this property for any group looking for a fantastic place to stay!"

  • Loved this house!!

"Someday I'd like to live in a cottage like this one! It's is adorable, and very comfortable. I admit I'm a simple person who likes simple comforts, and this was a perfect place for me. Tracie has added some fun details, and seemed to think of everything my son and I could possibly need for a weekend in Austin. The keyless entry was great (one less key to lose!) The bed was super comfortable. The shower was very nice! The window a/c (especially the one in the bedroom) worked very well (and it got a work-out during a holiday weekend of high temperatures!) I cooked most of our meals, and really had everything I could need in the kitchen. An article left on the coffee table told me about a bookstore I really enjoyed. And Tracie gave me some great tips on navigating by bike in the city. I pitched horseshoes (discovered I'm not very good at it though!), road one of the bikes that came with the rental to the Congress Avenue Bridge to see the bats emerge (and rode home in the dark! Yikes! But a fun adventure!), enjoyed visiting with the chickens and the cats in the lovely backyard, and loved reading and relaxing on the front porch. I brought my son to Austin from Cleveland, OH to attend the Rooster Teeth Expo Gaming Convention. The convention was a bit of a disappointment for my son (TOO MANY people), but Tracie's cottage saved the trip. We really enjoyed it. Thanks!!"

  • Family Wedding Trip

"We had the best stay at this beautiful Austin Home. In town to celebrate our cousin's wedding....it really was like staying at a 5* Resort, but without all of the hassles. Thank you for sharing your families home with us! We look forward to returning! Best, The Griswolds."

Bouldin Travel Tips

Finding Relaxation with Bouldin Vacation Homes

If you love Austin and you don't want to be isolated from it by staying in an impersonal hotel, staying in Bouldin vacation homes are the perfect solution. Spending your time in a single-family home is a far different experience from cramming into a hotel room during your stay. With a vacation home, you can spread out, get comfortable and spend your time relaxing.

Music Lovers Love Austin

If you're in Austin for the live music, you aren't alone. As tourists jam pack the hotels to be there for the Austin City Limits Music Festival each September, you can get away from the tourist rush and live like a local. You will be there to meet the locals and to learn more about the city you're visiting. And when it's time to get back to your Bouldin lodging for the night, you don't have to contend with the tourist traffic at the end of the day.

See More of Austin

But there is so much more to do in Austin than just listen to music. From Bouldin vacation homes, head to the Lyndon Baines Johnson Library and Museum to learn about Texas history, the Elisabet Ney Museum for art, or Bob Bullock Texas State History Museum. For can't-miss comedy, Esther's Follies is popular among visitors. For amazing restaurants, head to Green Pastures for elegant dining in a Victorian home or Wink Restaurant for upscale casual dining. With so many restaurants near Bouldin lodging, it will be hard to choose.

Group Travel to Austin

If you have a large family or group of friends traveling together or meeting up in Austin, Austin vacation rentals are the best way to coordinate everyone's lodgings. With an entire home at your disposal, you can easily stay together as a group and enjoy everyone's company during cozy evenings in your temporary Austin home.
