Excellent Stay - House & Host went above and beyond
"I had 10 people stay at Kirk's house (host), but it was much more spacey once we arrived. It had ample room to park cars, it was a quaint neighborhood with unique food to try in walking distance. Kirk was available 24/7 for any hosting needs. The house has a code for locking, so it was very safe and we didn't have to worry about losing a key. Downtown and the airport were both a quick & cheap Uber ride. There was no hassle with checking in or checking out, he was very flexible and even told us to leave the trash!! I had to leave him cake and a note because he was so great. The upstairs was hot, so I told him, 5 minutes later he came in and opened the vents upstairs, turned down the AC, and unblocked a vent. This was really above and beyond. Way better than airbnb or a hotel. Best host and property I have ever been on - the pictures don't do it justice."

"My husband and I stayed at this cozy place for a weekend. We were there to visit our son who goes to UT. Everything we wanted was available. There was even a nice selection of wine you could purchase which I thought was a nice touch. Will definitely stay here again."

"We just returned from a wonderful stay at the Soco Bungalow. It was a great visit with our two kids visiting our two older kids who live only 5 minutes away. The road is busier than average but was not an issue of noise or safety, etc. Need a car for sure, but with GPS that is not a problem. The décor is very cool and the upgraded kitchen was very nice. The large island was a great gathering place. The weather wasn't great so we didn't get to use the back patio. There are many nice touches. The beds are very comfortable. The kids were happy to see there were some games to play. Tracey was great to work with! We arrived and the refrigerator power was out, but right away she responded to our call and we reset an outlet button and it kicked back on. Convenient grocery nearby and amazing food. Wonderful spot to meet up with our older kids before going out for the day."

"We used this house for a family gathering with 8 adults and 4 toddlers. It worked out wonderfully. The house is big enough that adults could be rowdy without waking napping kids. I live in Austin so I know the neighborhoods, and to have a rental this big this close to downtown is amazing. I would actually buy a house in this neighborhood if I could afford it. We could walk to Barton Springs restaurants or Alamo Drafthouse, and Zilker Park was just up the road. The owner happily worked with the crib rental company to have a portable crib delivered, and she also demonstrated openness to my feedback about mulching the area under the playscape in the fenced backyard. This house will be at the top of my list when I search for a place for our next family gathering."
