"Close to downtown. Lots of Uber cars in neighborhood so trip downtown is cheap. Comfortable beds, excellent TV, and a great kitchen. We used the BBQ to grill Texas steaks ...worked great !!!!
Walking distance to Beer and Liquor Stores. Einstein Bagels and Austin Java are close. Owner made us feel very comfortable. Would definitely stay there again !!!"

"I had a conference downtown and it was a great excuse to get back home to Austin. The treehouse is a charming, unique apartment with plenty of natural light from the skylights. The kitchen was well appointed and my wife especially loved the claw footed tub. The weather only allowed for one night on the deck, but it was very peaceful. I see some reviewers were concerned about the bathroom ceiling, but the slope was not an issue for my wife and I as we are both just under 6'. Check in was very easy and Pete was great to work with. Highly recommend this space!"

"We have been traveling to Austin over the past few months and have found the perfect place.
2 bedrooms (one with balcony) and a bathroom upstairs AND a large main room/dining area, kitchen with dishwasher, blender, dishes etc and another bathroom with a washer and dryer on the main floor. AND a private back patio!
Everything we needed and more. Very private and comfortable.
Nice TV, wifi signal was good, the art work was killer.
This great find is walking distance to clubs, restaurants and the BAT bridge on the river.
We really liked this place and next time your in Austin... check it out.

"This property is absolutely fabulous! My boyfriend and I stayed here over Memorial Weekend in order to attend my sister's graduation ceremony from her PhD Program at UT. The location was ideal, as it was a block from her house, but also ideally situated for easy access to the downtown area. It's a quick walk to all the bars and restaurants, and it's close to the Hike & Bike trail. We enjoyed meals at both Z'Tejas and Clarks which are literally steps from the property. An Uber ride to the airport cost us $29 but only because a lot of the roads were closed when we were leaving so there was a lot of extra driving around. My guess is that it would have been about $17-20 max. In terms of location, you really can't find a better spot for this price.
Most importantly, the folks who own this property are awesome hosts. The transaction from start to finish has been a pleasure. Upon arrival to flat I found a nice bottle of wine and fresh flowers waiting within the positively IMMACULATE space. Fluffy towels, beautiful bedding, and a fabulous kitchen stocked with k-cups for having your morning coffee on the deck outside. Beautiful glassware and dishes stock the shelves, and the memory-foam bed is SO comfortable! As a previous reviewer said, technically this is a studio, but that description doesn't do it justice. The space is divided perfectly, and overall it was just the best place to stay. Without a doubt, we'll be back to Austin and won't be staying anywhere else."
