  • ACL

"WE were able to do an easy walk, about 2 miles, to downtown, restaurants, bus, taxi, the town is full of music and everyone was very nice. Great BBQ. Music, Dancing... Really liked Austin!"

  • Family reunion getaway

"We had our family reunion in July and we had 22 people with kids and all of us enjoyed it. Pool and hot tub were both great. I slept on the cast iron trundle bed and had the best sleep in years. 6 bedrooms and pull out couches and chairs. Huge kitchen and loved the out in the country feel. We needed a place so we were all under one roof with lots of activities and a central place to eat. Each year we take turns finding a spot and this was an excellent choice. Each of us has a different idea of where to go but this one ticked all the major boxes. Game room for the kids, hot tub was very warm without being too hot, and I loved the longhorn that looked liked he had black speckled eyebrows. Afraid we never ventured into town because we had too much fun there. If you are looking for something that is the opposite of the Waldorf with a down home feel this place is it. Off the beaten path and worth the trip."

  • Nice solitude

"Whether you are in Austin for a festival or for a more laid back experience, this is a great place to stay. Close proximity to the joys of South Congress and easy access to I-35, but very quiet and relaxing. Lots of space and a great kitchen, too. Considering it is a basement apartment, the owners are nice and quiet, too."

  • Great stay for ACL weekend!

"We had a wonderful stay over ACL weekend! The house was perfect for our group of two couples. It was conveniently located, very clean, equipped with everything we needed, and had the cutest little patio area! Becky and Felipe were both incredibly quick to respond to the only (very minor) issue we had, and they even had the place ready for us early. The only downsides were that the pillows weren't very comfortable, and the walk back from ACL was up a very steep hill, but I'm very picky about pillows and usually bring my own, and the hill provided a great workout for us after a day of eating and drinking. Definitely not deal breakers, and we'd love to stay here again!!"
