  • Best little gem in SoCo

"My boyfriend and I stayed here for a long weekend getaway. We were looking for a guest house close (walking distance) to downtown and found the perfect gem. This little guest house is our favorite place to stay so far, way more private and "homey" than a hotel. The neighborhood is safe and this guest house has a very comfortable bed and nice bathroom along with an amazing back yard to sit and relax. There is a large walk-in closet, washer/dryer along with fridge with basic kitchen supplies. The location is fantastic!! It is in the South Congress (SoCo) area and easily accessible to downtown. Highways are also very accessible for getting to other parts of Austin or into the Hill Country. I would definitely recommend this to others. The owner is very friendly, accommodating and a pleasure to work with. We will definitely be back in the future!"

  • Clean, Convenient, and Accommodating!

"This SoCo condo worked out well for my girls weekend. Exactly what the description portrayed. The location was clean, quite, and updated. Dominique was hostpitable, responsive, and extremely accommodating of our early check-in and delayed check-out. My 6 Chicago gals pals and I really enjoyed our 3 day weekend. It was a 5 minute walk to Lady Bird Lake. A 5 minute walk to the 1st street hot spots: Elizabeth Cafe and Torchy's Taco's. It was a short 10 minute walk to South Congress: Jo's Coffee, Snack Bar, Perla's Restaurant, Continental Club. My friends and I opted to take lyft to the different neighborhoods. If you don't mind walking, or have a car. This place will give you a wonderful Austin experience. One other small note - If you need coffee immediately in the morning, bring your own coffee - they have a coffee pot."

  • Austin Getaway

"I stayed at downtown view during the middle is September for a long weekend getaway. Overall I recommend this property. The emails and phone calls I had setting up the rental were easy. Carrie and Heather were very attentive and nice to work with. The location was exactly what I wanted. It is a short drive to pretty much everything - Soho, Bartlett Springs, downtown, airport... But close enough! It was secluded, which is what I wanted. The view of the Austin Skyline was amazing. I would sit out on the porch or balcony every morning and evening (when it wasn't raining) to enjoy the quiet and the view. The hot tub was nice, perfect for sitting in when it was raining outside (it isn't covered overhead, but still nice). The memory foam bed was comfortable. I didn't use the other bedrooms, or loft. The master bath was nice. The shower is unique, a little bigger than a normal shower area, and very nice. The kitchen was easy to cook in. The couches were comfortable. Internet was easy to get on. I watched TV but didn't watch any DVDs. The remotes were a little tricky to figure out at first. The decor is very eclectic - which is what Austin is all about! The neighbors cat(s) do hang around the property, but I absolutely loved this. One of them did not come close, but the other was very loving and it was nice to have a companion. I think they would stay afar if you didn't encourage them, just in case you have allergies or don't like cats. It is a house out close to nature, so you have to expect bugs. As long as you kept the porch lights off, it wasn't too bothersome. I also heard frogs or toads throughout the day, but didn't go searching for them. There is a big grocery store a block away (via car). I cooked my own breakfast, but enjoyed the wondeful restaurants Austin offers for other meals. This was a nice experience, far enough away for peace and quiet, yet close enough to join the hustle and bustle of the city easily."

  • Girls Weekend

"A group of girls stayed here in July/August and had an absolutely fabulous time. The accommodations are incredible - the house is very spacious with incredible floor to ceiling windows. All of the amenities - showers, kitchen, kitchen appliances, etc - are top notch. Curran was so easy to work with and ensured that we had a perfect stay. I would highly recommend this property for any group looking for a fantastic place to stay!"
