"My husband and I planned a short getaway in Austin. We'd never been there and never rented a privately owned place to stay while away; both firsts were wonderful! The location is close to everything and, for many, within walking distance. SoCo is a very cool area and the Austin food trucks make for a great variety of culinary choices. Highly recommend giving this place a try!"

"This is a charming home set back and high off the street with excellent privacy. Friendly neighborhood (people said hi to us on our walks) with well-kept homes and variety of architecture, both old and new. Lots of trees provide shade for the hot Austin sun. The location is fantastic--walking distance to neighborhood park, pool and SoCo attractions, and super close to downtown and river. The kitchen and back family room are spacious and very comfortable for a large group. Master suite is also big with lots of closet space and en-suite bath. A lovely back deck with a table for 6-8 and extra chairs is accessed from both. The two front bedrooms share a Jack-n-Jill bath. The owners have included anything you might need from bug spray and sunscreen to shopping bags, water bottles and a cooler. Even spices and oils for cooking are provided, a rarity in previous houses we've rented. Nice decorative touches such as hand-painted ceramic light switch covers and a red guitar in kitchen. Internet & AC worked great. For us, it was a wonderful base for UT graduation w/family. Sandy was very quick in responding to emails so we were able to confirm availability and set up payment without delay. Highly recommend!"

Excellent Stay - House & Host went above and beyond
"I had 10 people stay at Kirk's house (host), but it was much more spacey once we arrived. It had ample room to park cars, it was a quaint neighborhood with unique food to try in walking distance. Kirk was available 24/7 for any hosting needs. The house has a code for locking, so it was very safe and we didn't have to worry about losing a key. Downtown and the airport were both a quick & cheap Uber ride. There was no hassle with checking in or checking out, he was very flexible and even told us to leave the trash!! I had to leave him cake and a note because he was so great. The upstairs was hot, so I told him, 5 minutes later he came in and opened the vents upstairs, turned down the AC, and unblocked a vent. This was really above and beyond. Way better than airbnb or a hotel. Best host and property I have ever been on - the pictures don't do it justice."

"A beautiful home close to everything! My friends and I spent a fabulous Labor Day weekend at this SoCO charmer. It was perfect for our group of 8 with ample space to gather and relax both indoors and in the stunning outdoor garden space. We were able to walk everywhere (even in the August heat!) and greatly enjoyed this funky neighborhood's many bars, restaurants, and shops. Adam was a perfect host, and we really couldn't have asked for a more perfect home base for our girls weekend."
