  • Cutest Studio!!

"From the moment my husband and I arrived we felt at home. It was such an adorable studio! It reminded me of living back home in Atlanta and Decatur, GA. Very quaint and relaxing. We brought our bikes with us, so it was super easy to get to 6th street and South Congress. We ate brunch and shopped then rode our bikes back. It felt like we lived there and felt really natural. No pressure of seeing a front desk clerk and having to be around other people in lobby when arriving at a hotel. The entry is very private and feels like a standalone home. When we didn't bike we took a cab to downtown area which only costs around $15 each way. I loved the windows in the bedroom!! So beautiful. The best part about the neighborhood is the roaming peacocks! We went for an early walk and saw a couple of them :) Very COOL! I'm super jealous and now want to live here, but we've decided this our new home away from home. Thank you for keeping it so nice and letting us stay here!"

  • Great rental, perfect location!

"We stayed here during ACL and it was a perfect retreat after the long festival days. The neighborhood is beautiful and quiet, while still being close (walk-able) to restaurants and shops on South Congress. Robert was very helpful and accommodating. You can tell that he takes a lot of care in up keeping this unit."

  • Austin Getaway

"I stayed at downtown view during the middle is September for a long weekend getaway. Overall I recommend this property. The emails and phone calls I had setting up the rental were easy. Carrie and Heather were very attentive and nice to work with. The location was exactly what I wanted. It is a short drive to pretty much everything - Soho, Bartlett Springs, downtown, airport... But close enough! It was secluded, which is what I wanted. The view of the Austin Skyline was amazing. I would sit out on the porch or balcony every morning and evening (when it wasn't raining) to enjoy the quiet and the view. The hot tub was nice, perfect for sitting in when it was raining outside (it isn't covered overhead, but still nice). The memory foam bed was comfortable. I didn't use the other bedrooms, or loft. The master bath was nice. The shower is unique, a little bigger than a normal shower area, and very nice. The kitchen was easy to cook in. The couches were comfortable. Internet was easy to get on. I watched TV but didn't watch any DVDs. The remotes were a little tricky to figure out at first. The decor is very eclectic - which is what Austin is all about! The neighbors cat(s) do hang around the property, but I absolutely loved this. One of them did not come close, but the other was very loving and it was nice to have a companion. I think they would stay afar if you didn't encourage them, just in case you have allergies or don't like cats. It is a house out close to nature, so you have to expect bugs. As long as you kept the porch lights off, it wasn't too bothersome. I also heard frogs or toads throughout the day, but didn't go searching for them. There is a big grocery store a block away (via car). I cooked my own breakfast, but enjoyed the wondeful restaurants Austin offers for other meals. This was a nice experience, far enough away for peace and quiet, yet close enough to join the hustle and bustle of the city easily."
