  • The Greatest Place To Stay in Austin

"Whatever they say in the description of the property is 100% correct. We would recommend this property to our friends and family. You will not be far from downtown Austin, which is a wonderful place to visit. The owners, have books in the house that give you all the information about what to see and do while in Austin as well as for dining and music. The books also tell you about day trip outside of Austin, which we have done and enjoyed visits to some of the smaller towns and learning about their history. The Hill Country has so much history and now have become a mega for GREAT Texas Wine. You must go to The Story of Texas Museum. We spent three hours in the museum. Also, you must take a tour of the State Capital. This is a GREAT find and one that we will continue to book for our stay in Austin."

  • Awesome vacation home!

"This house is amazing! My friends and I stayed there for one last get together before college and it was just WOW! We really didn't want to leave the house because of the view. No words can describe it at all what so ever! The owner was very helpful in every way possible. I asked to change the contract quit a few times before our arrival and he was very nice about it. Hands down the best vacation home I have stayed at ever! Would definitely come back!"

  • Lot's of space and great pool-As Advertised

"We went with two other families and found that there was pleeeeenty of space for the kids to play and relax upstairs in the family room. Master bedroom was a very nice size and other bedrooms were ample. Everything in working order. Out back very nice grill and pool area for R & R. Just be advised that it is a home that is being lived in currently so lots of personal items of the owners and their kids. We had never rented a home that was lived in so for us it was a bit of a new experience. We did have to unload a dishwasher full of their kids dishes (only a minor problem). Other than that, the owners were very nice and accommodating and we got our deposit back in full. Very prompt responses to our questions via e mail and very little demands for checking out. They made it easy for us. Thanks for that!!"

  • Family reunion getaway

"We had our family reunion in July and we had 22 people with kids and all of us enjoyed it. Pool and hot tub were both great. I slept on the cast iron trundle bed and had the best sleep in years. 6 bedrooms and pull out couches and chairs. Huge kitchen and loved the out in the country feel. We needed a place so we were all under one roof with lots of activities and a central place to eat. Each year we take turns finding a spot and this was an excellent choice. Each of us has a different idea of where to go but this one ticked all the major boxes. Game room for the kids, hot tub was very warm without being too hot, and I loved the longhorn that looked liked he had black speckled eyebrows. Afraid we never ventured into town because we had too much fun there. If you are looking for something that is the opposite of the Waldorf with a down home feel this place is it. Off the beaten path and worth the trip."
