  • Family reunion getaway

"We had our family reunion in July and we had 22 people with kids and all of us enjoyed it. Pool and hot tub were both great. I slept on the cast iron trundle bed and had the best sleep in years. 6 bedrooms and pull out couches and chairs. Huge kitchen and loved the out in the country feel. We needed a place so we were all under one roof with lots of activities and a central place to eat. Each year we take turns finding a spot and this was an excellent choice. Each of us has a different idea of where to go but this one ticked all the major boxes. Game room for the kids, hot tub was very warm without being too hot, and I loved the longhorn that looked liked he had black speckled eyebrows. Afraid we never ventured into town because we had too much fun there. If you are looking for something that is the opposite of the Waldorf with a down home feel this place is it. Off the beaten path and worth the trip."

  • The Greatest Place To Stay in Austin

"Whatever they say in the description of the property is 100% correct. We would recommend this property to our friends and family. You will not be far from downtown Austin, which is a wonderful place to visit. The owners, have books in the house that give you all the information about what to see and do while in Austin as well as for dining and music. The books also tell you about day trip outside of Austin, which we have done and enjoyed visits to some of the smaller towns and learning about their history. The Hill Country has so much history and now have become a mega for GREAT Texas Wine. You must go to The Story of Texas Museum. We spent three hours in the museum. Also, you must take a tour of the State Capital. This is a GREAT find and one that we will continue to book for our stay in Austin."

  • Beautiful, well-kept and very welcoming!

"We loved our recent long-weekend stay here! I would definitely recommend staying here - it's a beautiful home and property and we loved the pool too, of course. It's one of those homes where you feel welcome right away. :) The owners were very helpful from the beginning and answered any questions we had and provided us with lots of info about nearby places and restaurants, which was really appreciated. Hope to come back!"
