  • Wonderful Getaway!

"Amy and Todd were absolutely wonderful and their apartment was perfect! The location is great (easy access to I-35 and about a 30 minute walk to the South Congress area). Amy and Todd were easy to work with throughout the reservation process, and they were extremely accommodating throughout the stay. The apartment was better than the pictures showed and the little touches were fantastic. This is the only place that I would want to stay in Austin and I look forward to another stay in the future. Great job Amy and Todd!"

  • Quiet On The Set!

"We were in Austin for the Austin Film Festival and this was the perfect retreat from the festival hub bub. We rented both the house and the cottage as we had a large group that was multi-generational. There was plenty of privacy for everyone and lots of different spaces to hang in. The screen porch out back was a favorite spot as the weather was glorious. The cottage was perfect for my daughter who was working throughout our visit. The dining area was a favorite meeting spot and the living room is a great conversation area. The rental process was smooth and professional and everything was as advertised. The neighborhood is sweet and the location is an easy walk to a number of good places to eat if you don't mind hoofing it up a fairly steep hill. Austin Java is at the bottom of the hill and great place for coffee and breakfast. As we arrived from the 4 corners of the country the location of the airport was important to us and I will tell you it is a breeze to get to and from the airport. Austin does have some pretty mighty traffic though if you are headed downtown. Loved this place and will rent it again. Thanks for the hospitality Austin, you are terrific."

  • Can't Say Enough About this House

"Not only is this a fantastic example of Craftsman architecture, it is also a great place to stay. Its perfect for a few couples, a couple of families or even a group of guys (like us). 3 bedrooms & 3 baths means everyones happy and a full, functional kitchen helps a bunch too. There are several restaurants and cafes within a few blocks and downtown is a short bus ride away with two lines stopping within two blocks on either side of the house (#7 and #10 routes). UT is in easy walking distance. The neighborhood is super quiet (theres a seminary next door!) and theres a nice park down at the end of the street. Price is great year-round though F1 week gets kinda pricey (still worth it though:-). Owners are great and responsive, we've stayed twice now and never had a problem. A wonderful and comfortable place that I hope to stay in again, thanks Ann and Jay :-)"

  • Nice solitude

"Whether you are in Austin for a festival or for a more laid back experience, this is a great place to stay. Close proximity to the joys of South Congress and easy access to I-35, but very quiet and relaxing. Lots of space and a great kitchen, too. Considering it is a basement apartment, the owners are nice and quiet, too."
