  • Convenient location and great rate

"We enjoyed the hospitality of the owner, high speed internet, cleanliness of the home, comfort of all the beds, convenience to both downtown and Lake Travis, and ease of parking our vehicle just outside the front door. Our family felt secure and comfortable here, which made for a very pleasant long vacation weekend in Austin. Thank you for everything, Mr. Easter!"

  • Austin stay

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We rented the home in Austin and the stay was awesome! We arrived late so the idea of not having to check in and get keys was so helpful. We attended orientation for St. Edwards University the location of the home was ideal! I was able to cook favorites for my son. It was a home away from home. The house was just as it's picture. All the amenities, comfortable and clean. Billy came over and introduced himself, which was very nice. The only concern was I was notified the exterminator needed access to the backyard. I had a meetings so I am still unsure if they ever went to the house. Sorry if I missed the scheduled time. I would stay there again! Thank you"

  • Most perfect place to get away!

"This property is exactly as presented. You can tell the owner takes great pride in her property. Everything was clean and well supplied. The beds are really comfortable and the electronics are top notch. But the best part is the zen like garden area around the pool. It was like relaxing in a oasis in the middle of the city. A great way to start the day or to wind down after a busy one. Location was perfect and walking distance to SoCo or even to downtown. Highly recommend. I will stay here again next time I am in Austin."

  • Birthday Pool Party!

"What a fabulous way to remember my special birthday! Friends relaxed in the pool, enjoyed the sampling of local wildflowers on the tables, and had homemade gumbo with key lime pie for desert! Topping it off was some unforgettable music from good friends! The acoustic sounds emanating from the beautiful fireplace was very special indeed! We are so grateful to the owners for their gracious help and flexibility! Thank you for an unforgettable evening!"

Austin Travel Tips

Awesome Austin Rentals for Vacation

The capitol of Texas is Austin and rightly so. It seems to be the center of everything which is probably why Austin rentals are so popular. Though it is also a college town with a strong alternative culture, Austin vacation rentals offer so much for the whole family. Austin lodging in the Texas Hill Country will really open your eyes to a different kind of lifestyle.

Where Are Austin Vacation Rentals?

The city is comprised of different districts, each offering something unique and plenty of Austin rentals. The districts are Downtown, East Austin, Northwest Austin, South Austin, UT & the Drag, Hyde Park, and North Loop. You can access the city, and therefore Austin vacation rentals, by car, train, plane, or bus. Also, getting around is not too difficult either. If you do not have a car and there is good weather, walking and biking are great ways to see the city.

Film Culture near Austin Rentals

Perhaps because it is a college town, Austin is home to many film festivals and cultural events. So, booking Austin rentals any time of year will probably afford you the opportunity to participate in some of these events. Some noteworthy film festivals held in town include the SXSW (South-by-Southwest) Film Festival, the Austin Film Festival, the Austin Bicycle Film Festival, and several more. Go ahead, catch an indie film and enjoy yourself.

Bats Need Austin Lodging Too

One thing that you should not miss while in town is the Austin bats. Yes, Austin lodging is not just for humans as almost 2 million Mexican free-tailed bats have made their home in the capitol city. In fact, the Congress Avenue Bridge is where you can see most of these bats, which is quite close to many Austin vacation rentals. Every evening, at dusk, the bats are active (usually from March to November).
