  • Beautiful Apartment

"This studio apartment was surprisingly spacious, had lots of light and was surrounded by trees. Everything was very clean and the place was equipped with everything we needed for our stay. The Cherrywood area is lovely. We had a car, but walked to Manor for food and drinks (only 5-10 min. away). It was a very short drive to UT. Kim was easy to communicate with and flexible with our arrival / departure times. We actually live in Austin, but needed a place to stay temporarily just before we headed out of the country (and while sublettors were staying at our own home)."

  • Can't Say Enough About this House

"Not only is this a fantastic example of Craftsman architecture, it is also a great place to stay. Its perfect for a few couples, a couple of families or even a group of guys (like us). 3 bedrooms & 3 baths means everyones happy and a full, functional kitchen helps a bunch too. There are several restaurants and cafes within a few blocks and downtown is a short bus ride away with two lines stopping within two blocks on either side of the house (#7 and #10 routes). UT is in easy walking distance. The neighborhood is super quiet (theres a seminary next door!) and theres a nice park down at the end of the street. Price is great year-round though F1 week gets kinda pricey (still worth it though:-). Owners are great and responsive, we've stayed twice now and never had a problem. A wonderful and comfortable place that I hope to stay in again, thanks Ann and Jay :-)"

  • Great spot to welcome family and friends

"It would be a 5 star if there were fewer stairs. The stairs everywhere make the house dangerous, in my opinion. That said, it was a fabulous location and size for our family and friends that came to our son's wedding. The home and grounds are relaxing and beautifully appointed. Rhonda left some gorgeous flowers that added such elegance, beauty and fragrance. Would be helpful to put little notes on doors of the kitchen (that are removable) pointing out where things are such as trash, potholders, cookie trays, etc. With an event like ours, you move in and immediately start hosting there's little time for searching:) The coffee provided was such a nice touch. The young people in the wedding party loved having brunch down by the fire pit. Other younger ones really enjoyed the volleyball court. I would suggest having a croquet set available for another option. My husband enjoyed the pool. The only negative, in my opinion are all the steps. The positives are many. Thank you for the perfect spot to stay while attending our son's wedding at St. Helen's."
