  • Highly Recommend!

"Cute, comfortable bungalow in a quiet neighborhood, convenient to SOCO and downtown. Lovely original artwork thoughout the house. The owner left plenty of bottled water in the refrigerator which was greatly appreciated. The only suggestion I have for improvement is to provide a few more chairs outside in the back yard."

  • Family reunion getaway

"We had our family reunion in July and we had 22 people with kids and all of us enjoyed it. Pool and hot tub were both great. I slept on the cast iron trundle bed and had the best sleep in years. 6 bedrooms and pull out couches and chairs. Huge kitchen and loved the out in the country feel. We needed a place so we were all under one roof with lots of activities and a central place to eat. Each year we take turns finding a spot and this was an excellent choice. Each of us has a different idea of where to go but this one ticked all the major boxes. Game room for the kids, hot tub was very warm without being too hot, and I loved the longhorn that looked liked he had black speckled eyebrows. Afraid we never ventured into town because we had too much fun there. If you are looking for something that is the opposite of the Waldorf with a down home feel this place is it. Off the beaten path and worth the trip."

  • Harris Park Historical House

"My husband & I stayed in this house for 10 days during our sons graduation from UT. It was conveniently close to the campus for the Thanksgiving football game against TCU and best of all, it was close enough to walk to the graduation. Getting to and from the freeway is easy and to down town Austin. Within walking distance to eateries as well. The house was built in the early 1900's and was beautifully refurbished. Loved the wooden floors & the french doors. The home was large enough to accommodate a large family. It was very clean upon arrival. The house was fully stocked with everything you could need. The owners were very accessible when we had a small issue arise. They took care of it instantly. We definitely recommend this rental to anyone coming to Austin. We'll be back for our son's Master's graduation."
