  • Great for families!

"I stayed here with my daughter and grandson for a few nights when we came in town to see an old friend. The size of the house was perfect for us but could also hold more people. There was some construction out front on the highway that was a little loud but you couldn't really hear it once you were inside or outside in the backyard and it looked temporary so not a major concern. We used the pool and the outdoor grill each night we were there and we made s'mores on the patio with the fire pit, which was all very fun for my grandson. They also had a high chair and a little portable crib for him which made life easier for us. We saw some bikes in the storage outside but never used them. The house was clean and well decorated and the beds were very comfortable. We had a little trouble with hot water in the guest bathroom the first day we arrived but the management staff fixed it very quickly and were nice to work with. We mostly stayed at the house although the location was nice to get where ever we needed to go quickly. Overall we had a great stay and would stay here again and recommend to friends."

  • Guadalupe River Retreat

"We really enjoyed our stay and especially enjoyed the pool table…that was an unexpected surprise (either I missed it on VRBO or the picture has since been added). We also enjoyed watching the trout fisherman across the river landing some really nice fish. Overall a really nice, roomy cabin on the river that was just what my family needed for some quality down-time over Christmas. I would just add one bit of caution, we had no cell-phone connectivity (we're on Verizon), so if you're someone who texts constantly that might be a problem for you (it wasn't for us). The cabin does have internet and Wi-Fi so that was enough connectivity for us."

"We come to Austin several times a year, & have always stayed in one of the upscale resorts in the area. We decided to try a private rental this time, & so elated we did. We wanted a rental close to Zilker Park for ACL, but away from the all the hotels & crowds. This condo was perfect. It is in a great location, just off 6th and Lamar. Walking distance to many great restaurants, Whole Foods, & a block from Town Lake. We were about 1 mile from Zilker Park, & a block from the bike trail, so getting back & forth was a breeze. I never felt like we were in a "rental", but felt like we were guests in a friend's home. We had a bottle of wine & chocolates waiting for us when we arrived, along with a welcome letter from Trey & Brandy. The kitchen was fully stocked, & extra sundries are available in case you forget anything like shampoo, soap, etc. I can't tell you how amazing it was to find this rental. We will never stay in a hotel again. This is our new place of choice whenever we come to Austin."
