Nice Little Yellow cottage
"I just wanted to say that I really enjoyed staying at the Casa Blanca cottage in Sattler, Texas. It sure made our family reunion a special memory!. It is in a nice quiet neighborhood close to the river and there are deer that occasionally make an appearance in the grass next to it. The cottage was well equipped the the necessities and roomy. We were able to make our breakfast or a small meal. Joy was a pleasure to deal with and was willing to accommodate my mother with her allergies by removing any scented air fresheners. The cottage is clean and has been updated as well. The cottage is also easy access to Austin as it is only about 15 minutes from I-35. We also took part in Gruene days for the market and eating at the Gristmill Restaurant which is only about 15 minutes away. It also made it easy to visit with our family that were staying at a near by RV park as well. We will definitely plan on renting this cottage in the future if we need to return to the area from Phoenix. Thank you Joy for providing us with the Casa Blanca cottage and making our stay very enjoyable. I would definately recommend staying at this cottage if you are planning on spending any time at Canyon Lake, tubbing the Guadalupe River, visiting New Braunfels, Austin or San Antonio as it is with in a short commute of each. There is lots to do in the area and this cottage would be a great choice for someone looking to get away and relax or be able to sight see."

"We had a family vacation with a toddler, 3 teens, and grand parents! Having two houses on the same property meant plenty of space for everyone when needed but the back porch overlooking the water was a peaceful place to gather and visit! Bring your kayaks or canoes and enjoy being able to get right out into the water and explore (our teens especially enjoyed this!)."

"First, I am fortunate enough to be able to regularly stay at high end properties all over the country and caribbean (Four Seasons, Ritz, etc.). Staying in such properties you become accustomed to a level of service and quality. I say this so you can use my expectations and adjust them as you need to for your expectations. We used the condo as a couple for a weekend and it was great for us. I think it can easily accommodate 2 more people, children really and still be comfortable. The master bedroom is well appointed and the common living areas are as well. The condo has been upgraded and updated, sure you can find one in the same complex for $25 less per night but trust me, why would you put yourself through that when you can have a nice updated place for a few dollars more?! Bottom line, if you are going to visit this area and you are renting, rent here. The outside of the building does not look like much but the inside, where you will spend a lot of your time, is great. Updated, nice finish out. The pool area is fine, not a resort but not trashed out or dumpy, good quality. I would not recommend more than 4 people staying here if you want to be comfortable and have space. Sure you can jam a few more people but 4 max is good in my mind, but then again I like space. The leasing staff were very friendly and accommodating and I would definitely rent here again if my travels ever brought me to this area. Don't be dismayed by the review about water heater or water pressure, the water worked just fine, no issues at all."

"Very nice little place to stay. Almost everything you would need is there, I really liked using the Magnaflux cook-top, I see one in my future! The bed is very comfortable and the hot tub under the stars was really nice (needs a little step up though!) The only thing I would change would be to add hooks for hanging jackets and bags on, and maybe a few folding shelves for larger bags. Also, the kitchen chairs are nice antiques and they force you to be perfectly still whilst sitting on them for fear of collapse. Other than that, if you're looking for the Tiny Home experience, this would be a great place to get a taste!"
