"This was our second stay at the Peacock house, the last was 2 years ago. The house is just as wonderful as last time, such a great place. Our teens loved it, and the kayaks are always a hit. We rented a boat from Splash Rentals again and had a great day on the lake. They delivered right to the dock and picked up later, so easy. And there were tons of deer wandering around the neighborhood, got lots of pictures. We enjoyed the Noon Spoon Cafe and the River City Grill in Marble Falls. Oh, and Choccolatte's-wonderful chocolate! Great Trip. Very relaxing vacation, would defintely stay again!"

"This is a beautiful home with a lovely view and everything you could want during your stay. The only thing I wish I had known ahead of time is that the pool is not really within walking distance. It's about a mile away, and in the summer heat (while carrying all of your stuff) we decided to drive instead."

"This property is absolutely fabulous! My boyfriend and I stayed here over Memorial Weekend in order to attend my sister's graduation ceremony from her PhD Program at UT. The location was ideal, as it was a block from her house, but also ideally situated for easy access to the downtown area. It's a quick walk to all the bars and restaurants, and it's close to the Hike & Bike trail. We enjoyed meals at both Z'Tejas and Clarks which are literally steps from the property. An Uber ride to the airport cost us $29 but only because a lot of the roads were closed when we were leaving so there was a lot of extra driving around. My guess is that it would have been about $17-20 max. In terms of location, you really can't find a better spot for this price.
Most importantly, the folks who own this property are awesome hosts. The transaction from start to finish has been a pleasure. Upon arrival to flat I found a nice bottle of wine and fresh flowers waiting within the positively IMMACULATE space. Fluffy towels, beautiful bedding, and a fabulous kitchen stocked with k-cups for having your morning coffee on the deck outside. Beautiful glassware and dishes stock the shelves, and the memory-foam bed is SO comfortable! As a previous reviewer said, technically this is a studio, but that description doesn't do it justice. The space is divided perfectly, and overall it was just the best place to stay. Without a doubt, we'll be back to Austin and won't be staying anywhere else."
