  • Magical Thanksgiving Holiday at this Wonderful, Historic Home

"We rented this lovely home for family across the state to meet and enjoy Thanksgiving together. We had a wonderful time. The house itself is interesting and historic. Felt like going back in time, but with all of the modern amenities! There was so much to do on the property. We played tennis, ping pong, pool, washers, horse shoes, and soaked in the hot tub. We saw deer and jack rabbits, and enjoyed watching the cows, sheep, and goats in neighboring pastures. We loved relaxing and rocking on the porch. It was so peaceful. Enchanted Rock is only about 15 minutes away and made for a nice day outing, as well as going into Fredericksburg to walk and shop main street. Trade Days was a longer drive away, but great for finding antiques, jewelry and great crafts. We had such a marvelous time at this property. Harrison, the caretaker, was attentive and helpful. Lots of great Texas artifacts in the house. Really a wonderful place and I would highly recommend it."

  • Home away from home!

"The Clover Haus is a perfect rental house! We liked the house so much we actually rented it again. The first time we rented the house it was with other couples and the second time I rented it, it was for a Girl's weekend. The house worked perfectly for both groups! It is impeccably decorated, with attention to every detail. The house is fully stocked with soaps, paper towels and snacks in the kitchen. It rained one whole day we were there and the front porch was a great place to watch the rain and converse with a glass of wine. Melissa was great to work with on both occasions and very accommodating. I would highly recommend the Clover Haus to anyone traveling to the Hill country!"

  • Great Family Getaway

"This place is awesome if you are looking for a quiet comfortable home away from home. My family just returned from here and can't say enough good things. The house was very clean and was equipped with all the essentials (clean towels, cookware, breakfast food, etc.) It was so nice to be close to all the Fredericksburg attractions but still tucked away from the traffic and noise. My husband especially enjoyed the deer watching, we saw three big bucks in velvet so that was pretty cool."
