  • Monarc B&B

"My husband and I went last weekend to the Monarc B&B in Fredericksburg, TX and loved every minute. Monica has thought of everything in the room. We loved the home baked goodies. If you want to really get away from it all stay here. Prices are good and not far from town."

  • Great Family Getaway

"This place is awesome if you are looking for a quiet comfortable home away from home. My family just returned from here and can't say enough good things. The house was very clean and was equipped with all the essentials (clean towels, cookware, breakfast food, etc.) It was so nice to be close to all the Fredericksburg attractions but still tucked away from the traffic and noise. My husband especially enjoyed the deer watching, we saw three big bucks in velvet so that was pretty cool."

  • Peace and quiet in the hill country

"Our group of four seniors stayed at Tres Lunas in the Casita. It was during a time when the zen suites were not occupied and we had the resort to ourselves. The cassita had comfortable beds, good air conditioning (appreciated in August), and was quite comfortable. We missed out on Craig and Carol's cooking but cooked a few meals ourselves in our casita kitchen. The pool and hot tub at the larger building was perfect. The views from the pool area, as well as the front porch of the casita were outstanding. We especially enjoyed the rockers for two persons near the pool where we sat enjoying wine purchased at one of the many wineries, while looking at the stars and milky way. The darkness makes for some spectacular star gazing. Wildlife abounds. We saw 20-30 deer at a time on the property in the morning and the evening. In addition, many birds including Red Tailed Hawks and roadrunners. We also spotted many cotton tail rabbits, one wild pig, and other crtters of the hill country. This is a place to come relax and discover what peace feels and sounds like. Turn off your cell and Ipad and listen to the quiet while watching about you. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and can recommend Tres Lunas."
