Large, Private, Immaculately-Kept Home Nestled on Guadalupe River Bank!
"My family and I had a wonderful time at this property. My husband and I have stayed at numerous VRBO properties throughout Texas as well as New Mexico. This was one of my favorites and we will definitely be back. I'll include our kid's thoughts on the property as well. From our daughter (age 19), "Everything was very clean and the kayaks were sturdy and easy to use! Also, the yard was very well taken care of and fun for activities". From our son (age 23), "The most impressive part to me was how well kept the entire property was. Great location.".
I'll second both their personal reviews! Large backyard covered in beautiful St. Augustine grass, 4 sturdy kayaks on property as well as tubes, beautiful location on the river (river-type shoes are a must if you want to get in the river), close vicinity to many area attractions and restaurants. Buttermilk Cafe in Gruene was our favorite for breakfast and lunch. The owner, Bobby, was a pleasure to work with. ...simply a bucolic setting.

"We rented the house for 2 nights for our annual college roommates gathering. It was far enough away from town to feel secluded, yet close enough to drive in for fun. Loved the pool, and now I wish we had had more time to veg out. We couldn't get the cable to work, but enjoyed Netflix Frankie and Grace."

"We spent several days here. Great communication with Leslie the owner. The photos of her charming place are spot on, no unpleasant surprises or disappointments. Quiet and peaceful. Perfect get away for just two. Lots of great places to eat close by, we loved Genneros best of all. Granny d's for breakfast and lunch was busy but good. You can find good live music on the weekend, go out to the lake, stay home reading a book, mountain bike, or my personal favorite take a long nap. The deck with its lovely view was another of my favorite places to hang out. Thanks Leslie. We had a great time!"
