  • Last Blast of Summer getaway

"We came down from Dallas for a quick getaway before school started and had a wonderful time. The lake levels were not too low and canoeing, water skiing and boating were great options. The condo was modern and beautifully decorated, very clean and had everything you could possibly need. All you had to bring was your food and drinks. The owner was very easy to work with and I would give the experience here my highest recommendation. I am looking forward to a return trip!"

  • Great Place - perfect for reunions and get-together

"We stayed during the memorial weekend along with 6 families and had one of the memorable long weekend. These are two separate houses with a common game/bar room. It is extremely spacious and well kept. We were about 24 people including couple of toddlers. Everyone had a great time and particularly enjoyed the huge backyard facing Lake Dunlap. The owner is extremely nice and helpful . We got locked out once and the owner came within short time to help us unlock the door. Cathy from property management company "Vacation river rentals" is extremely helpful and always available even during weekends."

Visit Area Attractions in Texas Hill Country

Longhorn Caverns open up and invite visitors in to look around the caves and caverns peeking out of the ground in Texas hill country. These caverns allow you to see what goes on underneath the surface of the Earth through guided tours, so you see the best formations. Also, take time to check out the Vanishing Texas River Cruise by Canyon of the Eagles. As the waters in the river drop due to drought, see the old town of Bluffton, previously covered by water, in addition to all the wildlife and scenery Texas hill country is known for. These cruises sell out quickly, so you may want to book your reservation before you arrive at Inks Lake.
