  • Bachelorette Party!

"My sister had her bachelorette party in Gruene and we needed a house to stay for just one night. Egret's Landing was perfect for us! Plenty of space for all of us and only a 15 minute drive to Gruene. We really enjoyed our stay and are hoping to visit again during the summer months when we can take advantage of the spacious backyard facing the lake."

  • Great for fishing and lake access

"We really enjoyed our stay at the Peacock house. Pros: The water frontage of the property is great for fishing. The stainless gas grill is super nice and the kitchen has everything you would need. We really enjoyed using the 2 kayaks and the fire pit for smores. One day we rented a boat from Splash boat rentals. They delivered the boat to the dock and also picked it up which was a huge perk. The beds were all very nice and comfortable. The bathrooms were clean and there were lots of soft towels. There is free wifi. The owner was very responsive and answered any questions we had during our stay very quickly. Cons: You can't really swim off the docks. The water is shallow and has a lot of algae at the bottom. The bathroom layout meant a lot of adults had to share the one small bathroom. One is inside the master bedroom area downstairs. The second bathroom is upstairs for the other 3 bedrooms. I was usually the last to shower and I did notice that I always had enough hot water. We would stay here again."

  • Beautiful Country Setting

"My family stayed here several days and loved the lodge! The kitchen was spacious, clean and wonderful for preparing meals. All of the rooms and beds were comfy. In the evening, we enjoyed sitting out on the porch and watching the sunset through the trees. It was beautiful. There was plenty of room for my kids to run and play in this quiet, country setting. Very peaceful. I would definitely stay again!"
