"Amazing place!! We had a great/best time, the view to the lake is absolutely beautiful. The house is very nice and it was very clean when we arrived. We stay here for 6 nights, 7 days and we are planning to comeback soon. We had time to visit the Longhorns caverns only 20 min away from the house and we had breakfast at the bluebonnet cafe a good/excellent local restaurant (food was delicious). Horseshoe bay is a great adventure for the whole family. We couldn't make it to the enchanted Rock but next time we will go (it was a suggested place by an other tourists). The service we received from the owners was phenomenal, we really hope to come back soon. We recommend this place to you!!!"

  • Small but perfect house on the river

"The owner helped us reserve the property the day before we decided to come. Everything was taken care of when we arrived and the house was just as described. One room has two queen beds so great for friends! It was one of the best weekday prices we could find directly on the river. I recommend for a relaxed time with family or friends and we would definitely return!"

  • Loved it

"Great place to stay for families. The kids were out in the yard more than they were in the house-they loved the swing set, chickens, ducks and the pond! We had 9 family members and all were happy. Just a few minutes and you were in town-we will recommend it to friends.?"

  • Fantastic Hideaway

"Tucked away in a charming neighborhood is this absolute gem. Though it's located just a short, easy walk to all the fun stuff, it really feels like retreat, yet you can walk to the Continental Club in ten minutes or so. It's the best of both worlds really. Freeways and main streets are all easily accessible from here, the neighborhood feels very safe and the neighbors are friendly and quiet. One of them has chickens in the yard (no rooster though, so it's not noisy!), which I thought was super charming. The house itself was impeccably neat, clean, and comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked and there are a couple of good markets within walking distance should you feel like eating in. It gets fantastic morning light, and there is a place to sit and enjoy your coffee in the backyard. Robert, the owner, is super responsive and accessible to answer questions and make recommendations, he was an absolute pleasure to work with. I'd highly recommend this place to anyone looking to stay in Austin. It's so much better than a hotel! You really can't do much better than this traveling as a single person or a couple. I'd definitely stay here again."
