  • BEST HOUSE YOU WILL EVER RENT

"Just returned from our stay at Summer's house on Lake Travis and we could not have been more impressed with the house and experience of renting from someone like Summer. We had a group of 20 guys and everyone was blown away at hoq nice the house was. Summer was incredibly helpful prior to our arrival helping us plan transportation, activities and even helping us acquire tickets to a Texas football game. Definitely hope to return in the near future!"

  • Couples Trip to visit local wineries

"This was a wonderful place to stay. It is located within 2-3 miles of a cluster of the local wineries/tasting rooms. The B & B is nicely furnished and very comfortable for our group to relax and enjoy ourselves. We cooked in for some evening meals and we found everything we needed in the kitchen to cook and serve. The owners are very generous is what they provide for breakfasts and snacks. We all look forward to going back there again."

  • Perfect for a girl's weekend

"This condo had just the right about of space for a group of 10 girls. Unfortunately it rained on Saturday so we weren't able to enjoy the pool or easy access to the river as much as we would've liked. However, we were close enough to be able to venture to the Natural Caverns which was a fun activity. The kitchen/bathrooms were well stocked with dishes and linens. The management company was great to work with as well. We accidently left a valuable item in the condo on Sunday after turning in the keys and someone was able to meet us and let us back in. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to return to the area soon!"

  • Gorgeous Property

"The pictures don't do this house justice! It is a beautiful setting, very private, perfectly maintained and super clean. We spent a week here and had a great time. There is so much to do right on the property - our 3 teenage boys stayed busy swimming, fishing, kayaking, swinging in the hammocks, playing chess, trying out the steam room and playing the piano while we relaxed and enjoyed the beautiful view. The owners thought of everything and were very helpful and easy to work with. We highly recommend and hope to stay again very soon."

Lake Buchanan Vacation Houses Provide a Wide Variety of Things to Do

The wide open Lake Buchanan is surrounded by limestone and granite hills offering a host of different activities. Canyon cliffs and waterfalls provide some beautiful photographs and memories. Swimming, sailing, boat trips, windsurfing, Jet Skiing and more can all be enjoyed from your Lake Buchanan lodging. Hike the trails, ride the zip line, or trek on horseback through the unspoiled natural surroundings. The Canyon of the Eagles Nature Park provides 940 acres of protected reserve which is home to many threatened and endangered birds. It is a great place for hiking and nature-spotting. For a change, head to one of the local towns for antiquing, gift shops and local restaurants.

Head out and visit the Buchanan Dam which was the longest multiple-arch dam in the U.S. when it was built. Close by is the privately-owned lighthouse which can be seen as you drive along the south end of the lake. They have two observation decks for spotting wildlife, bald eagles and the cascading waterfalls.

Kingsland is a small unincorporated town of about 5,600 residents. From here, you can hire a boat and sail up the Llano River.
