  • Cozy Cottage

"I really had a great stay at this private garden cottage. The cottage was the perfect size for me! It included everything I needed. It has a fence that surrounds the cottage, to make your stay very private and secure. The outdoor sitting area was one of my favorite parts. Parking right next to cottage is very great. I really enjoyed being able to walk to Kerbey Lane to eat a delicious meal. The owner of the cottage is very sweet and helpful to make your stay everything you expect it to be!"

  • Great Family Reunion

"Our family had a great time we had at M & M Creekside! We have had our family reunion at M & M for the past 3 years and have seen the owners continue to add conveniences to the property each year. This year we enjoyed seeing the M & M colored Adirondack chairs and picnic tables! The new sheets were really nice, and as always the place was super clean. We love going out on the deck in the morning with coffee, and saw the turkey's, a beautiful cardinal, the hummingbirds, and a heron! We also enjoyed the time and space to be together as a family! Thank you guys for this great place to meet."

  • BEST RENTAL HOME EXPERIENCE EVER

"We were absolutely blown away by our experience at Casa Mora. Annual golf trip with 4 friends (age 29 to 32). Beautiful setting far enough out to get away from everything but a very short drive to tons of great places. The house was extremely clean and stocked with everything you need for a trip. The pictures of the house, pool, backyard are spot on. The pool setting is as perfect as it gets and the game room next to the house was a huge hit with my group. They had all the little items that you would need for a relaxing weekend sitting outside, swimming, grilling, playing games. Candles, chairs, lighting, plants, everything was set up perfectly and I can't think of one thing I would change. The house was stocked will towels, dishes, soap...etc. The layout of the house is awesome and the open layout between the kitchen and living room was great for just sitting around talking, cooking, and watching TV. We were about 15 minutes from downtown and food, shopping, golf located within 10 minutes of the house. The gas station right off the main road was great for a quick run to pick up drinks, food, snacks. If you don't book this house for your vacation it is only you that is losing out. Morrie was very detailed, extremely easy to get a hold of and work from start to finish. We even had some last minute requests that he was more than willing accommodate. GREAT EXPERIENCE! We will be booking this rental anytime we have family or friends coming in town. I can't find one bad thing to say about our time at Casa Mora!"

Head out and visit the Buchanan Dam which was the longest multiple-arch dam in the U.S. when it was built. Close by is the privately-owned lighthouse which can be seen as you drive along the south end of the lake. Dine out at one of the waterfront restaurants which provide steaks, fish, Mexican food and more, or take a scenic wilderness tour aboard one of the boats which offer two-hour trips along the historic Colorado River Canyon. They have two observation decks for spotting wildlife, bald eagles and the cascading waterfalls.

Kingsland is a small unincorporated town of about 5,600 residents. From here, you can hire a boat and sail up the Llano River.
