"Our family loved this house and had a great time. There were 6 adults and 5 grandchildren (ages 4 months to 6 years). We loved the location on Lake LBJ, the easy access to a boat launch, the wonderful shade trees on the property, the nice boat dock that accommodated our 21' MasterCraft and our swim-crazy grandchildren, all the patio and deck areas, and the comfy home. We hope to be able to rent this home again next year for our annual gathering. Front Desk Vacation Rentals is great to work with, too. They are quick to respond to any request."

"We had a great time. Easy to get to both by water and land. Nice neighborhood to walk in. House was clean and in good working condition. Everything was well stocked and easy to use. The kayaks were great. There was lots of seating. We had a great time. The property owner was great to work with. The only negative was that the decks could use a little maintenance."

"Shady Grove was the destination for our family reunion with 15 adults and teenagers. We were looking for a place that had accessibility for my elderly father yet offered enough activities to keep 8 20-somethings active and happy for a week. This was the right spot for everyone; the frisbee golf, volleyball, badminton and bocci (?) ball kept us busy and the yard from the house to the boat dock was a gentle slope that my father and his wife could easily and safely negotiate. The 5 bathrooms and 5 bedrooms were sufficient to give everyone adequate space. The bunkroom with 6 bunks did get pretty warm at night, however. Our favorite area was the outdoor patio with the bar, frig, grill, ice machine, chairs, large fan, stereo system, and big screen TV. Although initially we could not get the TV to function properly, management did make it out to fix it so the remote would work. The kitchen was furnished with everything imagineable and the 2 washers and dryers were helpful. Our favorite activity was being at the boat dock and swimming, kayaking, boating, floating, paddleboating, and visiting. There was room for the 22-foot fishing boat my sister's family brought as well as a smaller fishing boat we also brought with us. I appreciated that the house was on a small "channel" of sorts so that I could swim laps the width of it each day without the fear of large boats in the busy areas. All in all, I think we would return to this property; the cost, which was at the higher end of the budget for us, was made up for by the amenities that appealed to a diverse crowd."

"A great property in a prime location. Best part is the outdoor patios. The only drawback was that all the full baths were upstairs which was a little difficult for our 90 year old mom. Still a great place and we would go back in a heart beat"
