  • Tinney Family Vacation

"My family of 10 enjoyed this amazing house last summer for a little over a week. It was incredibly clean, well kept and perfect for all of us. Amazing views! Great location on the lake to just sit and watch the water or get out and have some fun! We couldn't have asked for a better house for our family!!!"

  • Love this house and sandbar! So pet friendly

"This is the best house to relax with quiet surroundings. We loved the sandbar where we all could float and swim including our dog. The house was very clean and well maintained. Everything was in working order and no need to bring anything other than our food, clothes and bath items. The best part was when the storm came through one night, the owner texted me to check and make sure we were okay. She was very responsive and nice. I highly recommend this for families, pet owners, teens, couples, boaters, swimmers, those who like to kayak and canoe. We had several games of football, volleyball and relay races in the lush, green backyard. If you are from Texas, you know this is a treat to step barefoot on green grass with no "picky's" or red ants. World Cup soccer was on in the afternoon (nice TV) and the people we met who also use the sandbar where very nice. Great, current materials for travel and events in the area of Highlands Lakes in the house. Even had a Kuerig! Thank you for providing laundry soap and bleach since we forgot it.You will love this house!!"

  • Great condo!

"Our group of 6 arrived on Friday. When we entered the condo it was immaculate. The art work was intriguing and very colorful. The condo was very clean and very well stocked! We hung out at the pool that afternoon, which was very nice and clean too! We rented a resort shuttle to take us out to dinner and back. (Highly recommended if you're having cocktails)! On Saturday we rented a pontoon boat and wave runners. What a Great Lake for tooling around! Horseshoe Bay and The waters have everything any group would want or need. We would definitely stay in our particular condo again!"

Here, visitors may be lucky enough to find a fossil of Ice Age mammals that once lived in the cavern or relics from its first human inhabitants, the Comanche Indians. Be warned, the cavern is said to be haunted! So much so, that brave visitors may choose to accompany one of the ghost hunts held here.
