"The "Pencil" house is a great place to stay. All the beds are comfortable and the bedrooms are nice size, especially the master. We are looking forward to next summer so we can stay there again."Guest: Keena and Wilkerson Family Date of Stay: September 2014 Review Submitted: September 15, 2014View listing
"This is the best house to relax with quiet surroundings. We loved the sandbar where we all could float and swim including our dog. The house was very clean and well maintained. Everything was in working order and no need to bring anything other than our food, clothes and bath items. The best part was when the storm came through one night, the owner texted me to check and make sure we were okay. She was very responsive and nice. I highly recommend this for families, pet owners, teens, couples, boaters, swimmers, those who like to kayak and canoe. We had several games of football, volleyball and relay races in the lush, green backyard. If you are from Texas, you know this is a treat to step barefoot on green grass with no "picky's" or red ants. World Cup soccer was on in the afternoon (nice TV) and the people we met who also use the sandbar where very nice. Great, current materials for travel and events in the area of Highlands Lakes in the house. Even had a Kuerig! Thank you for providing laundry soap and bleach since we forgot it.You will love this house!!"Guest: carolyn w. Date of Stay: June 2014 Review Submitted: June 20, 2014View listing
