"The pictures do not do this gorgeous house justice. It greatly exceeded my expectations. Fully stocked with all the pots pans utensils and dinnerware you could ever need. And wow- TONS of towels. Just bring your tennis shoes as well as your river shoes because you will won't to explore every corner of this picturesque property and there is a lot of it. They provide kayaks - which we all made use of - but bring your water mattress or "beach chairs" You can float and relax or sit on your beach chair while the kids run around you splashing and playing... The depth of the water is perfect for the adults and the kids... 2-4 feet while we were . No worries- just a peaceful, relaxing day at the river! Thanks for sharing your home with us. We all really enjoyed our weekend!"Guest: Anonymous Date of Stay: August 2014 Review Submitted: August 20, 2014View listing
"This house was very relaxing and very clean. The view is amazing and peaceful. My husband caught two large bass right from the dock in front of the house. What was especially great was the owners allowing us to use their kayaks and canoe. That sealed the deal for us! It's such a hassle to tow our own so having them at the house waiting for us to use was awesome. Thanks for sharing!"Guest: Fort Worth Date of Stay: September 2012 Review Submitted: October 11, 2012View listing

"The house was recently renovated throughout with high end finishes everywhere. The 6 beds in the kids bunk room was a perfect setup (although we had to monitor them to actually get them to go to sleep). We had 15 people staying and didn't use all the beds. The yard is perfectly manicured with thick grass and lots of shade from mature oak trees, on a postcard perfect 2 acres of land. The dock is perfectly setup with shaded lower deck sitting areas with ceiling fans and huge 2nd story sitting areas with beautiful views of the sunset each evening. All our kids (ages 2-15) had great fun jumping off the dock into the lake. Having the dock in a cove, just off the main (busy) Lake LBJ was nice for swimmer safety. Our 26' boat was too large & heavy for the covered dock but fit just fine in the 2nd uncovered dock. The padding all around the 2nd dock was much appreciated to protect our boat. Outdoor furniture was all very good quality and very comfortable. Our family appreciated having all the toys readily available (kid and adult kayaks, noodles, frisbees, ping pong equipment, volleyball & net,etc.). Our young kids caught 4 fish off the docks, which was exciting for them. I thought we would have used the outdoor kitchen and living area more, but we spent most of our time down by the dock. Overall an excellent long weekend on a beautiful property. Thanks to the owners for the time and money put into this place. A couple minor things that we noticed (none of these would prevent me from coming back): Not being able to use the Big Green Egg grill was a disappointment. We would have been willing to pay a deposit and/or use fee for this privilege. An umbrella or two on the 2nd story of the dock would help with the Texas afternoon sun. For a $250 cleaning fee, I would have expected not to have to worry about compacting our own trash and helping the maids with the cleaning process before we left (stripping beds, washing all dishes, empyting the outdoor trash cans, etc.). This distracts from the high end experience that this property is offering."Guest: Family Reunion Date of Stay: July 2014 Review Submitted: July 30, 2014View listing
