"Our group of 4 adults and 4 children (aged 8 to 12) spent a wonderful four days at this lovely house. The house was comfortable and well equipped indoors and out with an amazing range of outdoor places to sit, chat, watch the sky; but the real star, for us, was the river front area just a short walk down the path. We all loved exploring in the kayaks; and the river was so safe we could allow the kids real freedom to roam, which they embraced. The rope swing was in constant use, the horseshoes were challenging and the barbecue area was alight with fireflies in the evening. Lovely river scenery, wildflowers, birds, deer, hummingbirds, even a family of armadillos in the garden .. these Scots fell in love with Hill Country! Although the Hunt store is very small (and characterful) there are more places to shop within a 20 minute drive, if you find (as we did) that you need to top up groceries / buy river shoes / indulge in a fancy coffee or fast food. We were all so reluctant to leave but felt we'd had a fantastic holiday. Thank you, Michelle!"Guest: muileachs Date of Stay: June 2014 Review Submitted: July 16, 2014View listing

"We loved staying at the Dal Nonna cabin for our first anniversary. The cabin had everything we needed, and we loved how secluded and peaceful it was. The location is great too, just a few minutes from the beautiful Krause Springs and several wineries. I would definitely recommend this cabin!"Guest: Gretchen Date of Stay: June 2014 Review Submitted: June 13, 2014View listing
