  • Friends weekend!

"Me and 14 friends stayed here for a weekend, and this property exceeded expectations on every level! There was plenty of space to spread out, no one felt cramped at all. Beautiful decor with a very rustic feel, but with updated appliances and fixtures. There's a huge fire pit on the side of the main cabin that can fit 20 people around it, which was great for the chilly evenings. It's very close (about 3 mi) to the Hidden Falls Adventure Park, so we went out there and drove four wheelers and hung out all day, then came back for a nice cookout at the house. The best part was that you can entertain and have fun in the main cabin, but if people choose to call it a night, the two sleeping cabins are completely separate. The kitchen is huge and there's plenty of room, we easily cooked breakfast and dinner for 15 without any issues. There's a propane grill outside on the pretty patio next to the outdoor dining table as well. Honestly, the pictures don't do it justice, you have to see the place in person to really appreciate how beautiful it is. Nancy the host is extremely accommodating, and quick with her replies. She made the whole thing a breeze, and we didn't have a single complaint the whole time we stayed. Will return soon hopefully! Thanks, Nancy!"

  • Fun Filled Getaway

"We had a group of 10 that needed a long weekend away from work and the real world. The pictures of the house do not serve it justice. The property and house were breathtaking. We spent the majority of the time utilizing the outdoor amenities. The pool was very refreshing from the heat. Sand Volleyball was the key to the trip. Let's just say we played volleyball longer than we slept (it's even lighted for nighttime play). Also, the outdoor kitchen was perfect. The owner of the home was so accommodating as well. The process was quick and painless and everything was laid out on a platter for us as guests. Everything we needed was either at the house or very close by. Long story short, we have a marvelous time and it was such a memorable trip. Bottom line, we could not have asked for a more accommodating owner and getaway. What a WONDERFUL vacation to start off the summer!!!"

"The condo was beautiful and it was stocked well, with kitchen and bathroom items. I just wish we were not so busy doing other things, we stayed during the ROT rally and just used it as sleeping. The property was gorgeous, I definantly would stay again."

  • A wonderful family weekend at Lake Travis!

"We recently spent a 3 day weekend hanging out at this great Lake Travis rental in the Point Venture development. The listing was very accurate regarding the location of the rental. It is about a 45 to 60 minute drive to downtown Austin. However, within a 20 to 30 minute drive there are any amenities and shopping you could need. The photos were right on the money and very representative of this great property. We used all the bedrooms, and our 4 year old grandsons loved the loft bedroom with the cowboy theme. All the beds were very comfortable. The condo was very clean and had everything we needed. We ate a couple of family meals around the big dining room table and had plenty of room. On Friday night we made our way down the many many steps to the Gnarly Gar which is a restaurant located at the Point Venture marina. It was delicious and so nice to just stroll back to the condo and not have to get in the cars. We also rented a ski boat from the Riviera Marina on Saturday. It was about a 30 - 40 minute drive, but well worth it. They were very nice and we had a blast tubing on the lake with the kids. Big big thanks to Kevin. He was in contact before the rental, and I felt like if we needed anything we could have counted on him. The pool was well used by us and is literally a short stroll across a parking lot. Sparkling clean and huge! The playground was a drive around to the other side, but also a very nice distraction for the little ones. We would stay here again in a heartbeat. Thanks again Kevin."
