"We rented this place as a weekend getaway. My biggest problem was the dock which was damaged during the storm. This was not mentioned when we booked the place. All that was said about the dock was there was a private dock we could use. Once it was confirmed with Bill, he let us know his dock was damaged during the storm and they hadn't been able to repair it yet. The boat ramp that was literally two doors down was off limits for us because it was behind a locked gate so we ended up having to pay to launch the boats and then had no where to park it because the terrain near Bill's dock was not acceptable. More than likely, we would have found a different house to rent if we would have known this prior. Also, only half of the hot tub jets were working, water was super low in the hot tub. Many of the cool looking lights around the house were not working. If you are afraid of heights, this place is not for you. There are LOTS of stairs, in case you aren't a fan of up-and-down. All in all, we had a great time and the accommodations were pretty good. Just a few hiccups. As I understand it, they had some rowdy parties earlier in the season which probably caused the issues with the hot tub and lights."

"What a find this property is! My husband and I made last minute plans for a long weekend getaway to the Hill Country and we are so thankful this guest house was open. Todd and Laura were wonderful hosts - Todd provided us with a fabulous run down of everything in the house and the history of the property on our arrival. The view was lovely and the property was quiet and peaceful. The house had everything we needed...even things I didn't know I needed - the heated fan as you step out of the shower!!!! The guest house was spotless. We were close to the lake and close to lots of restaurants. Todd and Laura, thank you for your hospitality. We will return!"

"It was a huge house for a family of four. The bedrooms upstairs were a great retreat away from the noise of other family members and the balcony was a great place for relaxation overlooking Lake Travis. The house has all the amenities for the young ones and the young once :) from backyard swing set and playground and barbq pit to large family rooms for family games and conversations. The house is very close to the lake, a walking distance. Great place to rent pontoon boats or jet skis at the Paradise Cove Marina across the lake house. Love the Texan decos. The owner, Bill, was super nice and very accommodating about the many details and questions that we needed to work out for my families."
