  • New Orleans/Houston Crew

"Loved the house. Just what 5 retired people needed--4 educators so this was our first September vacation. Quiet neighborhood. The deers show every morning. We saw 6 one morning in the front yard. House was clean. The only thing that I have to say is that there needs to be something that shows the location of the light switches and what light do they control. More towels in the kitchen would be nice. Thanks Leslie for sharing."

  • Lovely place to stay

"This is a beautiful home with a lovely view and everything you could want during your stay. The only thing I wish I had known ahead of time is that the pool is not really within walking distance. It's about a mile away, and in the summer heat (while carrying all of your stuff) we decided to drive instead."

  • Mixed feelings

"Our family of 17 spent two days at this property. Upon arrival we discovered a non- functioning air conditioning system in one of the houses. The next morning was even more frustrating as we had no water pressure and no hot water. No one could shower and the worst was the inability to flush toilets. We admit that the owners and property manager were very responsive and both issues were repaired but our stay was certainly dampened by these occurrences. Would also recommend a manual of some sort explaining the use of various appliances. It took 4 tries before we discovered that the dishwasher only gets the dishes clean if it is on the power wash setting. We also tried for more than an hour to unlock the stovetop burners and finally discovered the trick was to hold the "all burners off" button down for about 10 sec. Other than these unnecessary frustrations, the property provided enough rooms, comfortable beds, fun grounds, several places to gather, and a very well-stocked kitchen for our event."

  • A wonderful family weekend at Lake Travis!

"We recently spent a 3 day weekend hanging out at this great Lake Travis rental in the Point Venture development. The listing was very accurate regarding the location of the rental. It is about a 45 to 60 minute drive to downtown Austin. However, within a 20 to 30 minute drive there are any amenities and shopping you could need. The photos were right on the money and very representative of this great property. We used all the bedrooms, and our 4 year old grandsons loved the loft bedroom with the cowboy theme. All the beds were very comfortable. The condo was very clean and had everything we needed. We ate a couple of family meals around the big dining room table and had plenty of room. On Friday night we made our way down the many many steps to the Gnarly Gar which is a restaurant located at the Point Venture marina. It was delicious and so nice to just stroll back to the condo and not have to get in the cars. We also rented a ski boat from the Riviera Marina on Saturday. It was about a 30 - 40 minute drive, but well worth it. They were very nice and we had a blast tubing on the lake with the kids. Big big thanks to Kevin. He was in contact before the rental, and I felt like if we needed anything we could have counted on him. The pool was well used by us and is literally a short stroll across a parking lot. Sparkling clean and huge! The playground was a drive around to the other side, but also a very nice distraction for the little ones. We would stay here again in a heartbeat. Thanks again Kevin."
