"My family and I spent a few days here and were blown away with everything the villa, lake, and Lago Vista had to offer. This was our first time spending a small vacation in this area, so we did not no what to expect from the area. First I would like to say thank you to Tracy and Lyle for allowing us to stay at their property. The communication was excellent in leading to our stay. Lyle met us at the property, to tell us about the amenities, and if we had any questions about anything. We also received some suggestions for places to eat, the nearby boat and jetski rental that was fantastic, and plenty of games or movies to relax and enjoy. Perfect place to sit back, relax, and enjoy all that Lake Travis has to offer in a beautiful remote area. Thanks again and we will be back!!!!"

"I spent last weekend here with a group of old friends. This was the 14th time we've rented a vacation home for this yearly get-together, and we've never enjoyed a place more than this one.
The location is wonderful - definitely in the country, but only 20 minutes from plenty of restaurants and shopping on the southwest edge of Austin. The property, which is quite large, overlooks the Pedernales River; there's a nice path (mostly stairs) all the way down to the riverbank. The surroundings are classic Hill Country, from the limestone bluffs to the roadrunner that wandered around the property one afternoon. There are neighbors on both sides but we never saw or heard them.
The main house is a large three-bedroom, with a big kitchen and a separate den / media room (complete with tiger theme). It's not luxurious, but everything was clean and well-maintained. The kitchen was well-stocked and everything worked great except for some of the burners on the range. There are two big tables, each with seating for 8. The master bedroom (where I stayed) was fantastic and features a really comfortable king bed. There's also a nice covered carport that can accommodate four cars. Out back there's a small but nice (and deep!) swimming pool, a small hot tub, and a two-person sauna. We enjoyed all of these immensely.
The guest house is a much smaller three-bedroom, with a small kitchen and living area. Like the main house, it's modest but comfortable. We didn't need to use the seventh bedroom, a small apartment off of the garage; it's a neat little setup, but did smell faintly of gasoline (something we didn't try to fix since no one slept there).
Mark (the property owner) was very easy to work with. And when I arrived at the property, Mary Ann and Will (the housekeeper and groundskeeper) graciously showed me around and answered all my questions. All in all, a great group of folks.
In summary, if you're looking for a place out in the country to relax and play, you'll probably love it here."

"We went for a long holiday weekend and thoroughly enjoyed the Tram House complete with a panoramic view of Lake Travis from the deck. The two master suites were beautiful, and we left feeling truly pampered. Keith, the owner, was charming! We will surely stay again."

"The condo was as beautiful as depicted. We were greeted by the deer at the front gate. Calm and peaceful. Well equipped and great directions to the place. For me 2 adults is perfect for the condo. Adding 1 or 2 kids would be ok, but 2 more adults would be pretty crowded. Price was reasonable and the view was great. I would double check with Mark about the gate code as it changes frequently and we were lucky to get there just before the attendant was leaving. Our code didn't work and after checking us out she gave us the right code. Overall a very pleasant stay and would gladly repeat."
