"The couple that rents this property are very friendly and just good people. Their property is amazing in architecture and location. It is very modern and clean with an excellent view of the surrounding hills."

"It was the first time my family and I had stayed in a villa. It is furnished very nicely and there so much to do there at the Hollows. The owner is very professional with responding timely to emails and any questions we had about our stay. He made us feel at home. I will rent it again when we have another chance to go away."

"I spent last weekend here with a group of old friends. This was the 14th time we've rented a vacation home for this yearly get-together, and we've never enjoyed a place more than this one.
The location is wonderful - definitely in the country, but only 20 minutes from plenty of restaurants and shopping on the southwest edge of Austin. The property, which is quite large, overlooks the Pedernales River; there's a nice path (mostly stairs) all the way down to the riverbank. The surroundings are classic Hill Country, from the limestone bluffs to the roadrunner that wandered around the property one afternoon. There are neighbors on both sides but we never saw or heard them.
The main house is a large three-bedroom, with a big kitchen and a separate den / media room (complete with tiger theme). It's not luxurious, but everything was clean and well-maintained. The kitchen was well-stocked and everything worked great except for some of the burners on the range. There are two big tables, each with seating for 8. The master bedroom (where I stayed) was fantastic and features a really comfortable king bed. There's also a nice covered carport that can accommodate four cars. Out back there's a small but nice (and deep!) swimming pool, a small hot tub, and a two-person sauna. We enjoyed all of these immensely.
The guest house is a much smaller three-bedroom, with a small kitchen and living area. Like the main house, it's modest but comfortable. We didn't need to use the seventh bedroom, a small apartment off of the garage; it's a neat little setup, but did smell faintly of gasoline (something we didn't try to fix since no one slept there).
Mark (the property owner) was very easy to work with. And when I arrived at the property, Mary Ann and Will (the housekeeper and groundskeeper) graciously showed me around and answered all my questions. All in all, a great group of folks.
In summary, if you're looking for a place out in the country to relax and play, you'll probably love it here."
