"We stayed here for a bachelorette party weekend with a total of 21 guests. Everyone had ample room and space. The backyard view is breathtaking and the house comes with all the amenities you need! The owner definitely kept the guests in mind when setting up the rooms and outside areas. Chris was more than accommodating and communicated very well throughout the entire booking process. Everything you want to see is just minutes away -- we will definitely be back!"

"We loved staying at the feathered horse ranch. Very nice place and the breakfast treats are wonderful. We had a great time, we also love the privacy that we have. The cabins are very clean, kitchen has eveything you need but food. I plan on coming back to this place 2 or 3 times a year. Love the hot tub, firepit and the beautiful stars."

  • One. Spectacular. Property.

"I still can't believe this place exists. I've lived and worked and camped all across the hill country all my life and there is no other place like this one. When you rent the cabin you get access to 700 acres to explore and there is so much to see. There are hiking trails, off road trails, caves, natural springs bubbling up out of the ground, campsites, lookouts, canyons, scavenger hunting maps, tree maps, shooting ranges. The owners have spent 19 years grooming this property and it shows. The pasture we stayed in had been transformed over the past 15 years into a flowing grassland. On our nature tour Phil taught us about rangeland management, local native american history, the 27 species of trees on the ranch, water conservation. Everything was first rate - everything we needed was provided to us. The owner is a novelist and much of his recent book talks about the ranch and the rich stories that have taken place there. It's a truly unique experience. You are 10 minutes from town but 1000 miles from stress. What an unbelievable property."
