  • Great Family Vacation Spot!

"We spent 4 days here and had a wonderful time. Unfortunately, the AC wasn't working the first 2 days, but was fixed early on the 3rd day. Also, we never had any hot water, but we didn't tell anyone about it. We loved the pool, the decks, the views, especially sunsets, and the charming house with a rustic air. We really didn't get out much except to get groceries. We had 2 boys, 15 and 11, and they loved Petey and swimming. The stairs are a little problematic for anyone with a handicap. But I made it. All in all, we loved it and would go back and recommend it to friends."

  • summer retreat

"We enjoyed our stay very much. The sleeping arrangements were a bit tight, but the girls did not mind the air mattress.( It did losse air during the night) The walk back from the float down teh river was not bad and the swimming on the property was great! The girls enjoyed hunting for creatures to catch and swimming off the limestone. we enjoyed the chairs set in and near the water too. Feeding the deer and watching the wildlife was very relaxing and something we did many times a day and eveninWe did have an encounter with a big black scorpian in the small bedroom. It crawled into a pair of shorts, but was spotted before anyone was stung. However we were not so lucky with the large wasps that were residing by the main side entrance. That sting was a whooper and I'm glad it got dad and not one of the girls! We would love to come back again. WE thought my parents would be able to come spend a day with us, but I did not think they would be able to make their way down to the water. They are in their eighties. To many loose rocks. The home is beautiful and full of hill country charm and we enjoyed our stay very much. Thank you for sharing your special place with us."

  • Nice Ranch

"This is definitely a ranch vs. a "hill country" accommodation. It was nice, clean but a little cluttered with Christmas decs for my taste. Also, deposit is "cash" and 1 month after my stay, it has yet to be returned. If you like ranch living, this is it. It you want "hill country keep looking."

  • Awesome!

"We just stayed over Memorial Weekend 2014 and the house was perfect! It is a really family oriented house and my toddler had such a great time! I cannot say enough good things about our experience. House was clean, cute, quiet and very close to everything in Wimberley, Driftwood and Canyon Lake. We will be back again to this house. My parents who r 60 also enjoyed there stay as well!"

Wimberley Travel Tips

Find the art of the Everyday With Wimberley Vacation Rentals

You're the picture of respectability, all paper, ink, and obligation. You do what you must. You never complain. You take each duty seriously. But sometimes you long for a bit of whimsy in your day. You think, of course, that you'll never find it (at least not for a price you can afford. The creative is often far from cheap). But there is an alternative to what you know: Wimberley vacation rentals.

Become Part of the Picture: Wimberley Vacation Houses

Wimberley is a collection of the old and the quaint with charming shops, cypress shadows, lavender fields, and folksy mercantiles. This little town will quickly please with its friendly atmosphere and artistry. The Market is the second largest outdoor vendor in the state. With over 475 booths, it is certain to appeal. There is much to do. You'll feel right at home. And, of course, that's made all the easier by choosing a rental property to complete your stay.

Texas Hill Country Lodging Offers the Value of Choice

No matter how impressive the town, there is certain to come a time when you'll regret the vacation. That time is usually when you pull into the parking lot of your hotel. It's an overpriced room with nothing but the basic amenities (anything more would cost too much). But there is another way to spend your evenings. Instead of waking up to four walls and a dull ceiling, consider rental homes. You can then flow from corner to corner, relishing all the extra space and extra comforts; all for a cost that won't make you weep. Renting is a steady and comparable expense to your usual hotels. You're getting so much more for a rate that isn't so much higher. That's the little bit of practicality you can keep. Even when you're looking for the unique.
