  • Christmas Family Reunion

"This was our second time renting at Serenity Cove and once again it proved to be the perfect choice! Bruce & Sheryl are great to work with and live on the property making it easy to address ant concerns right away. We were a family of 30 people and we never felt like we were on top of each other. The property has plenty of room for everyone to spread their wings! The pool was heated, but never felt warm enough for the adults. However, the kids LOVED IT!!!! When not in the pool they enjoyed playing with the ping pong tables, air hockey, kayaks, etc. The deck at this property is HUGE and had more than enough tables and chairs for us all. The views are amazing. I can't say enough about our stay at Serenity Cove. Grocery stores, shopping, food, etc was just about 10 minutes away so it's also very convenient. Book this property for your BIG family….it won't disappoint. **I will point out that 2 of the bathrooms don't have working shower heads because they are outdated, but I believe this is something Bruce is working on. My family didn't seem to mind it too much."

  • Truly "Memories" and "Perfection"

"We chose the Sugoi Lodge for our annual family reunion because it would hold our large (ultimately nearly 20 people) over Thanksgiving. The lovely lodge was perfect in nearly all respects and the scenery left you breathless. The kitchen had two large ovens, large refrigerator, and equally large freezer. There were enough tables for a much larger group than ours and beds that let you sleep like babies. Although the wood stove was for decoration only, there was a firepit outside overlooking the lakes where one could catch up on all the family news for the past year. The fish weren't biting (maybe because it was late November?), but some folks had fun trying and others took one of the boats out on the lake. Most of us took walks/hikes around the big lake near the lodge. The manager Jim was always available, helpful, and very pleasant to deal with. We moved the outside grill to a slightly different place where there was better light after sunset. It was great that we were out in the country, but not at all far from town. I might suggest that a memo be placed on the kitchen counter with answers to the questions which visitors throughout the year ask. We LOVED this lodge!"

  • AWESOME PLACE

"The house and property was even better then advertised. The water was very clear with a sandy bottom which made it nice for fishing or swimming. The house slept 10 easily and with over 3500 square feet there was plenty of room to spread out. Of course with baseball playoffs and college football the 6 BIG HD tv's really helped. The deck area was great (and large) with lots of room for a BBQ and hanging out and watching the sun go down. The master bedroom upstairs was fantastic. Even though you have a very good website my group always have lots of questions and I appreciative you being so responsive. We definitely hope to get back next year and catching some more bass. I would recommend this place to anyone that wants enjoy the water or just kick back. Thanks again for helping making it a great stay"

  • Excellent Family Vacation

"Hands down the best family vacation we have had. Our stay was really relaxing and great for our whole family. The cabin was so darn cute and was completely stocked with everything so just bring yourselves and food and you are good to go! We went the weekend before Christmas so the weather was chilly but it didn't stop us from going out and enjoying the beautiful property and letting the dogs run free was awesome. We loved the little beach area our dog didn't want to get out, lol. My teenagers loved the tree swing!! My son did a little fishing but didn't have any luck, lol. Loved all the board games and the extra blow up mattress came in handy. I can not wait to return in the Spring or Summer. I have nothing bad to say about our trip to the Crappie House! It was just breath taking. The owners are super sweet and you really do feel like you are out there all alone. Very quiet and peaceful. My only suggestion and this is me just picking but during the Holidays it would of been great to see like a small Christmas Tree or something in the cabin, I think that was the only thing missing if I had to point something out. I can not wait to return with my family!!!"
