  • Truly "Memories" and "Perfection"

"We chose the Sugoi Lodge for our annual family reunion because it would hold our large (ultimately nearly 20 people) over Thanksgiving. The lovely lodge was perfect in nearly all respects and the scenery left you breathless. The kitchen had two large ovens, large refrigerator, and equally large freezer. There were enough tables for a much larger group than ours and beds that let you sleep like babies. Although the wood stove was for decoration only, there was a firepit outside overlooking the lakes where one could catch up on all the family news for the past year. The fish weren't biting (maybe because it was late November?), but some folks had fun trying and others took one of the boats out on the lake. Most of us took walks/hikes around the big lake near the lodge. The manager Jim was always available, helpful, and very pleasant to deal with. We moved the outside grill to a slightly different place where there was better light after sunset. It was great that we were out in the country, but not at all far from town. I might suggest that a memo be placed on the kitchen counter with answers to the questions which visitors throughout the year ask. We LOVED this lodge!"

  • Great home away from home

"This vacation place is like having your own private get away. It has all the comforts such as beautiful and comfortable bedrooms, well stocked kitchen, very clean, lots of board games and a pool table. We got a lot of use out of the poker table too. It's located in an upscale neighborhood so we felt comfortable taking strolls at anytime of the day. Our favorite thing to do was sit on the large balcony and watch the sunset. The only access to the water is a stone walkway so it does not have a beach, a dock or a place to park a boat but there is a public ramp just a couple minutes away. Its southern location on the lake made getting groceries, dining out and other necessities a breeze because you are only 15 miles from Jasper. It's a lovely home and we will definitely be back!"

  • Perfect After-Prom Venue

"Serenity Cove proved to be the perfect venue for our prom group of 25. The house is beautiful with many hidden nooks and crannies that the kids loved exploring through, seemed like each door you opened led to a different hallway with more bedrooms. The best part was watching their faces light up as they first entered the house and then hearing their laughter as they ran from room to room. The 1st floor master suite also proved to be the perfect chaperone suite as it is set away from the rest of the rooms and provides some nice, quiet adult time if needed. A full day was spent outside on the beautiful grounds as the kids played sand volleyball, soccer, kayaked and lounged around. The outdoor kitchen and expansive deck was great for an afternoon hamburger cookout. The inside pool/gameroom proved to be the place where the kids spent most of their evenings and were able to play pool, air hockey and water volleyball. All in all, the house was just perfect for a prom group as it was large enough to give everyone enough room (unlike the house they rented at Surfside the year before which proved to be too crowded for a prom group and uncomfortable) and there were numerous activities that were available to keep everyone busy. Also, many VRBO houses do not view prom groups very favorably and sometimes it is hard to find one willing to rent to prom groups. Not at Serenity Cove!! Bruce and Sheryl were very understanding of the needs of our young adults wanting to spend a final weekend together following prom and were very accommodating to our group. I would highly recommend this venue is you are looking for a weekend after-prom house!!"

  • Fun for adults and kids!

"The condo itself is very nice, has an inviting balcony overlooking a quiet lake cove for morning coffee and sunset cocktails. Days are filled with boating and swimming in the lake, and playing lawn games on the expanse of green space. Having a private pool so close is a real value, too but the yacht clubs pools are really great! Enjoying lunch poolside is what I call vacation! And this condo is a perfect vacation rental. Professionally handled, too. Thank you for a wonderful experience."
