"Great home in the beautiful woods of East Texas. Our deer lease is 1.4 miles from the home so we are so pleased to have this beautiful home to stay in. It's perfect for a relaxing weekend even if you aren't hunting. Beautiful property on a hill with Texas pines all around. It's really an great home to come home to! 5 stars for sure!"

"If you are considering a rental at this property, be aware of ONE thing: It is absolutely amazing. We rented this property for 14 (yes, 14) people to stay over Memorial Day weekend and my daughter's wedding at the nearby HodgePodge Lodge. There was a little trepidation about enough room for everyone without being crowded. It was wasted worry. The house was immaculate, and had every amenity one could possibly imagine. The garage "playroom" was a big hit with the kids, and truthfully many of the adults--everyone enjoyed the ping pong and air hockey tables, karaoke, and costumes. The kitchen was so spacious and roomy, with plenty of room for preparing and serving a meal to the hungry hordes. The multiple common living areas provided more than enough space for both togetherness and solitude as desired. We went in late May, so the catfish were shallow, and the kids had a great time fishing, some catching their first fish, as there were several rods and reels available. We found the description accurate, if anything understated. We found it immaculate upon arrival. The owner was immediately responsive to any questions throughout the rental process. I would recommend this property to anyone and everyone--every family member who stayed there hated leaving. It was perfect."

"Pine Grove Cottage was amazing for my friends and me! We spent three days/two nights here and we were never bored. The cottage sits on a secluded plot of land with large trees that lead down to a massive pond with fish and canoes. The grounds were perfect for our bocci ball set, horse shoes, football, soccer ball, etc. We grilled steaks on the out door grill and ate fresh eggs from the farm. The house easily slept all six of us and was nicely decorated. The kitchen had every utensil you can think of. Jim and Paula have made this place great and we really did have an epic weekend!"
