  • Our Point

"We had a lovely stay there, the place was very nice as was the people who ran it... We will be back for more weekends, and we know they will be there with smiles and only kind words to share! Very nice people, and couldn't stay at a more beautiful place! When I woke up the next day, I just didn't want to go home! We my husband and our small dog loved it!"

  • Tranquil with beautiful lake view and sunsets.

"The property has been updated by the current owners with a great deal of care. It is a soothing place to stay, especially the owners bedroom retreat and bath which looks out to the lake, with double living areas so all can have their own space. Perfect for elderly as it is all on one level with easy drive up and unloading. A great place to stop and unwind, especially if you like to fish, or kayak, or boat, or all. You can arrive with your toothbrush and a change or two of clothes, a cooler of food, and and be pretty much set for the weekend, The picture of the covered boat dock where we fished all weekend pretty much captures it all. Thanks,."

  • Absolutely beautiful

"It was way better than we expected. The cabin was perfect for is & our 3 younger kids. Loved the glass front & the rocking chairs on the deck. The views are breath taking. The private piers & boat ramp were are favorite part! No dealing with anyone!"

  • Great place for a family reunion

"My husband and I took our 4 adult children and some of the grandchildren for a weekend. Perfect place for fishing (catch & release). Horses in the pasture adjoining the property loved being hand fed the sliced carrots I brought. The house is actually 6.5 baths not 7.5. The cons first. We had bad cell phone reception, a hairdryer was only in 1 bedroom, no shampoo/conditioner, broken/uneven stepping stones outside back door, plenty of knives in kitchen, but all are "very" dull, boats had water in them that we had to empty, two trolling motors were missing, but were promised on Saturday (never arrived), property was only partially mowed (said a mower broke down). The pros. There is a fire pit (bring your own wood), one outdoor chair in each bedroom, combination safe in each bedroom, coffee/condiments in each bedroom as well as in dining room area, many condiments for kitchen provided, i.e. sugar, salt/pepper, ketchup, mustard, paper towels, 3 full size washers/dryers, very close to Wal-Mart/town. Other things. The gazebo has a round table in it, so it can't be used for a wedding, but a great place for fishing. The grill is for charcoal. Caretaker Jim comes twice a day to remove trash and provide any information/requests. He knocks and comes right on in without waiting for the door to the answered. There is a combination lock, so locking the door wouldn't prevent his entry. One morning he saw my son-in-law (an earlycriser) fishing & spoke to him. Son-in-law told him everyone was still sleeping. He came in anyway and I ran into him almost literally as I was coming out of my bedroom. He didn't knock that time. There is a tip jar for the housekeeper, but we were asked to do whatever we could to help her out before we left. I washed all the towels and folded what wasn't in the dryers before we left. However, there is no additional fee for cleaning. There is tax charged on the house which is not indicated in the VRBO website. Would I stay there again--YES, but with an understanding about entry with Jim."
