"We rented this home for a 4 day, 3 night getaway for my wife's birthday. Upon arriving, Jimmy greeted us and pretty much gave us the ins and outs of the place, the town, and the assurance that he was there in case we needed anything. The decorations in the house added to the ambiance of the very large lakefront property. Everything was in proper working order and we encountered nothing that ever gave us any problems during our stay. The family pictures in the living room area were a nice touch as well. The game room was sort of the teens dungeon. Dart board, pool table, foosball table, several bunkbeds, and full bath allowed them a sort of privacy of their own while not being but about 50' from the main house. A large portion of the yard (immediately in front of the house) had ample space for us to set up a volleyball net and still had plenty of space left over. The picnic area, which is located immediately in front of the game room, is almost fully shaded during the daytime hours and allowed us to be outside during the daytime hours without being beaten down on by the sun. The pier/boat dock was also one of the more populated areas during our stay. The water around the dock seems to be around 6'-8' in depth at the time of our stay, so provided for some excellent swimming. Overall, everyone complimented the place and truly enjoyed their time there. Can't wait to be back."Guest: Mike Date of Stay: April 2014 Review Submitted: April 16, 2014View listing
"We had a great time staying in the house. It was a perfect size for just the two of us. Very nice and clean and had everything we needed for the four nights we stayed there. Loved the boat slip even caught a couple of nice catfish right off the docks of the boat slip. Had a great time watching the "wildlife". Mostly the Mallard ducks. One had 13 babies. So relaxing just sitting and watching and talking to other people in the neighborhood. Everyone was so nice and helpful with fishing directions. Would love to go again and use the same house. So affordable and clean. Didn't even need the upstairs even though it would have slept three more people."Guest: Dannette W. Date of Stay: June 2014 Review Submitted: June 22, 2014View listing
"Luckily, we were able to rent this home at the last minute when we just needed a little peace and a little fishing. This was just the place for both. Both the owner and the neighbor who assists with check in ( and her husband) were very friendly and helpful. The place was very clean and had everything we needed for the weekend. Great dock to swim off and/or fish off and a large yard for Frisbee or throwing the football. And the sunset was like a postcard. We will definitely be back! Thank you."Guest: Jenny L.
