  • Such a BLESSING!

"We were in between a move in the area and needed a place to stay so we did not have to do the hotel life for 3 weeks. Alex was kind, workable, and helped us in a really stressful time. The house had all we needed and more. It is in a great location and again a HUGE BLESSING!!!"

  • Amazing!!

"We stayed here while we were 'home' for Christmas and it was THE most comfortable and relaxing stay. The house is absolutely wonderful and had plenty of room for my family of 5. The grounds were fantastic and we even had a fire pit which we used almost every night. The beds were so comfortable and the area was very quiet. We really enjoyed the sitting room off of the master suite. There is plenty of seating and cozy places to relax around the house both upstairs and down. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to cook as well as things to help with clean up. It is about a 25 min drive to Dallas/Arlington but very little traffic on the roads going up there and it is very easy to get around. Totally worth the drive to stay in this quaint and quiet setting. This would be a wonderful place for a wedding with beautiful grounds and little decorative things everywhere you look: fountains, arbors, benches and statues. The owner, Loreen, was the best owner I have ever worked with. She made the trip even better! Anything we needed or had questions about she was right there. I highly recommend staying in this house. You will not be disappointed! We will definitely be back!"

  • Great spot for mini-family reunion and football

"Myself, sister and her family, and our mom (eight total) converged on the Metroplex from Arkansas, San Antonio, and North Carolina for the Texas A&M/Arkansas game at AT&T (Cowboys) Stadium and a brief family reunion. The house lent itself to having some together time when we weren't at the game...fortunately we like each other. :-) I think a good time was had by all...except I was the only one happy about the outcome of the game which had nothing to do with the house. The location is very convenient to I-820. You can actually see it from the back porch but you cannot hear it at all. Getting to I-820 on this trip was tough coming down the airport freeway because of construction so you might want to take I-30 to I-820. That route was certainly convenient to the stadium. We made it there in no time even in game traffic. The description on the 4th bedroom is slightly off. Instead of a futon there is now another memory foam bed. I think everyone slept soundly and comfortably. We didn't really use the kitchen but it seemed to be well stocked and in good working condition. There was a grill outside on the back porch, but we didn't use that either. We did take out and there were plenty of restaurants a short distance away and all types of food options available. I also wanted to note there were no mobility issues for my mom. There are no stairs to navigate if that's an issue. Slight step over the threshold is the extent of it. The only minor problem we had was the bathtub in the second bathroom was very slow draining. Nothing a little Drain-O, Liquid Plumber, or an old fashioned plunger couldn't fix. It wasn't enough to ding the overall rating. We'll certainly keep this property in mind for next year. I hope to make this an annual event ."

  • Good location

"I would recommend this property. We stayed here with our children and a grandparent for a family vacation. It was an excellent location. We were very close to Six Flags and Rangers baseball. Not walking distance, but very convenient. There is a nearby grocery store within walking distance, as well as a few "fast food" type restaurants. We also drove to attractions in Fort Worth, Addison, and Dallas without any commute being longer than about 40 minutes. It was so nice to stay in the same place for the whole 5 nights. The kids loved the pool, which was not busy at all. They also loved having the patio to go outside. On the con side, I think that the condo could have been cleaner...cob webs were under the vanity. But it wasn't terrible. There were only 4 washcloths in the whole condo. But we just made a quick trip to the store to buy a cheap pack. The toilet in the small bath was not glued down well. Overall, I would recommend this property. It fit our needs perfectly for our Dallas area vacation."
